"The food is too pricey, they serve you only a half of cup of beans and white rice. Usually authentic restaurants serve you more beans then that especially if it's for two people. Their bathrooms have water saving old system which sadly they need to change asap. It gets clogged to easy and to me that's a big don't go back. They only get 2 stars because they do have a bar and the place is bit centric for a stop and go but I would not recommend it for a picky, clean eater like myself.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp but don't go past 4:00pm too crowded."

"I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant! The staff was incredibly friendly and I enjoyed it so much that I returned the following day. I was pleasantly surprised to discover this hidden gem while visiting from Texas."

"Layout/atmosphere *Tables inside, view into kitchen; outdoor wooden structure in street and tables on sidewalk; chips come in bowl with sombrero covering them Service *Quick Food/drink *Chorizo cemita [string cheese, avocado, papalo onion, chipotle peppers, bean spread and mayo on sesame roll] Good *Burrito Mojado (wet) [verde salsa/carne asada; flour tortilla with sauteed onions, peppers, guacamole, melted cheese, rice beans, crema queso fresco] good"

"We were searching for a restaurant where the kids could order typical children's meals while we could enjoy tacos. The kids were satisfied with their meals and the portions were generous. The service was excellent, our waitress was attentive. However, I was not impressed with the tacos I ordered. Despite the abundance of meat (I ordered carne asada), it was lacking in flavor. The salsas provided were not spicy at all, which was disappointing. I am accustomed to Mexican restaurants serving very spicy green salsa, but this one did not meet my expectations. I may return to try the margaritas, but I am hesitant to order food again."

"Food has always been good until last night. Waiter took our order brought drinks and never came back to our table until he brought the bill by then i was beyond pissed. Chicken and steak dish was too thin and. Beyond dried out. Would've have love another mix drink or water refill but waiter was too busy for 30 minutes standing at a table with a group of ladies to take care of his other tables. Will come back again but will not have this waiter ever again."

"the huevos rancheros with rice and beans or chorizo and eggs are still outstanding. Comes with tortillas and red and green sauces. The coffee is the best I've had on the island. My only disappointment is that they open at 11am, not 7am."

"Albert's Is More than Mofongo. Last week, I reviewed International Food House, the sister restaurant of Albert's Mofongo House. Now it is Albert's turn. Albert's Mofongo House features mofongo plates, naturally.<br/ Yesterday, a friend of my spouse and I dined at Albert's which shares a kitchen and a chef with IFH.<br/ The amiga selected chivo guisado (stewed goat) which came with steamed yuca and onions plus rice and pink beans. She also ordered a piña colada. I had a mojito and the puerquito asado (braised pork shank) which was accompanied by a small green salad and mashed sweet plantains.<br/ Take home to my spouse consisted of rabo guisado (stewed oxtails) and moro. Moro is the short term for moros y cristianos (the reference for rice and black beans). In Dominican circles, they can be other beans such as gandules (pigeon peas), which this version happens to be.<br/ All was fine with everyone. The puerquito was huge. Yet, I managed to finish it in the restaurant. It was meltingly tender and the skin was extra crisp. The friend took home leftovers and bought pollo a la brasa. My wife had leftovers at home. Servings are generous to compensate as the prices are higher than most typical Caribbean places."

"Mom and I stopped by after mom had to go to the Tag office in Jefferson. Our server Juana was so friendly and nice. Got out orders in quickly and came out promptly. Our late lunch was delicious. Mom and I had food left over for dinner tonight. We will be back. Keep up the great work Juana and staff!"

"I took an out of town colleague to this place for lunch. I have visited before and once again it was not disappointing. Service is always courteous and they are helpful with recommendations. As with almost every peruvian restaurant, portions are big and food quality is very good. My only criticism is that there's no lunch menu and this makes for bit expensive meal (typical on most peruvian places). I had the pescado a lo macho and my friend had the lomo saltado. They were both nicely cooked, presented and very tasty. Don't miss the jalea mixta if you like fried seafood. It is also great. They can accommodate vegetarian needs also."

"The food has always tasted fresh. Thos place cannot crowded as they offer live music which is usually pretty good. Other than the rare occasion, the service is prompt and courteous."

"Margaritas is like taking a mini vacation to Mexico. The food is fresh, well prepared and delicious and the ambiance is bright, colorful and feels authentic. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The night we were there the Mariachi Band serenaded us with La Bamba — it was perfect. And the Cancun margarita was fantastic!"

"I had the order of 3 handmade flour quesadillas (steak, carne enchilada, chorizo. The steak wasn’t chewy or tasted old, it was well seasoned, the carne enchilada was a little underwhelming but still tasted good, it reminded me of the steak, it was a little dry. The chorizo was good, they were topped with sour cream and cheese with a tiny salad on the side. They were a good size, a little thin but well packed with meat and had a really good internal melted cheese inside. This is a good Resturant with authentic food, and i hope to try more of their food in the future."

"The best food around! Save the subpar for a hangover spend a few more for really good food. If you order by phone, it's helpful to order in Spanish (if possible! . The weekends are v busy, but always worth it. People order the roasted chicken a lot, although I've never had it. Pictured is the arroz con camarones y frijoles: always flavorful, tails on, and some of the best beans PERIOD! Still gotta try the oxtail soup! Update: ordered pickup via GrubHub, service is stillamazing, food is still amazing."

"Been here a time before and it was really good. The other night, my boyfriend and I stopped in to place a to-go order and waited. It wasn?t much of a wait. We then took our food home and when we started eating, everything was so dry and over cooked.Almost like they cooked it previously in the day and just reheated it. We ordered fajitas that came with chicken, steak, shrimp, and chorizo. The shrimp was so over cooked we could barely get the tails off. My beans and rice were cold. Disappointing for howmuch each plate cost. Staff is super friendly but man, that was $40 wasted."
