"We decided to try it last night downtown. Caprese with about a seven out of ten, the salad with grilled chicken was about a 4. Not cold, not enough dressing and the dressing that was on it was not great. Chicken parm about a 5 out of 10. Bread about a 3 out of 10. So overall not amazing food and we would not go back. Ambience inside was nice waiter was nice but food not so great."

"The food was completely inedible. The spaghetti was burnt. The chicken was low grade and even the water tasted off. The server checked on us never and on a quiet night the food took a very long time to deliver. If I could give it zero stars I would and I would advise everyone to STAY Away."

"I used to be a great favorite, but it fell for a few years with food quality. Very happy to say that it seems they are back to their good days. Great food, good offers, excellent staff (blonde waitress with the nasal ring was one of the best waitresses I had for a long time everywhere), beautiful atmosphere. Even though it is quite busy, what is often, eating is relatively fast, the service is good. You often have happy hour specials on drinks and appetizers as you buy a get a free one. Her fried Kalamari is one of my favs. Good choice for a variety of occasions and diners, including only for drinks."

"I have been frequenting this restaurant since it was Jasco's, and I must say, it has only improved with time. I have always been a fan of their Foccacia, artichoke dip, and anything with 'Thai' in the name on the menu. However, the roasted vegetables are a standout for me and I consider them the best item on their menu. Sitting by the window offers fantastic views of downtown, and the staff is friendly and welcoming, giving off a family-like atmosphere."

"Pesos has been my family's favorite restaurant for over 30 years. In these 30 years we moved from hometown Crosby to Michigan to Lake Charles, La to Georgia and back home. My sons were 5 8 when we were gone. Now at 29 32 they can go to the door and Sergio Jaime know exactly what their orders will be. My boys boycott the Mexican restaurant that should stay unnamed, and 25 years later never have foot in the square. The food in Pesos is fresh, delicious and they treat you like family! Thanks Sergio Ophelia! Jaime, you're the best! The Feemster family"

"I use to love to go here with my buddy and have a big dog beer for $6.25. But the last few times have been terrible by how the staff and customers have been treating us. We're just trying to sit down enjoy our beers and not get hassled but sure enough we get hassled. First Lady was super drunk serving us and giving us an Attitude and then the next lady serving us got so angry and demanded a tip and confronted us. By the way this is a cash only bar and we only had cash for the beer. She got so angry that she told the whole bar and her friends that they came up to us and started getting angry and wanting to fight. So unprofessional..... we will not be coming back here."

"We came in from out of town had a late game at the fields. Also called ahead to make sure they were open, were filled in that we had kids with us. The bartender wanted to save face and said they had no knowledge of this. But they won’t sit anyone with minors after 10. If we would have known this we wouldn’t have wasted our time going to this establishment. Probably won’t come back so wouldn’t know if the food is good."

"I stumbled over this place when I passed! I went in and saw a beautiful ad of magnificent cupcakes and other baked treats! I orded the blood orange, carrot cake, salted carmel and chocolate mousse I believe. Everything was delicious, but I would like to say, not sure whether it was sitting on the display for a while, but the salted caramel was not as fresh tasting as the others. Besides, everything was delicious!"

Take your time or money in these places, its garbage. You have many other places that you can go, which are more stylish and have real concern and respect for there customers. "one of us tried to challenge the 78oz steak. he failed, the steak was perfectly cooked, although it was so big. we also got regular steak and burgers, both of whom were excellent. my daughter and I share the bull pie dessert, great taste great worth. the staff was attentive, the amount was small, but it was later on a Sunday night."
