"In general, La Brochette was OK , but certainly not as good as I would have expected for the price. Our waiter, while perfectly acceptable, seemed a bit surly and while he was never rude, he did not show any enthusiasm or levity. At a high-end restaurant, you expect exceptional service and the service was just average at best. While my dining companions did enjoy their steaks, my filet was over-cooked and tough (for a filet). While the flavor was very good, the filet definitely did not have that melt in your mouth vibe that you expect from an item costing over $50 (just for the steak). The Sushi was good, the salads were excellent. We had lava cake for dessert and while the lava cake itself was delicious, the ice cream was freezerburned. The décor of the restaurant was elegant. Over-all I expected more out of this establishment, but if they correct a few things, I might go back."
