"Located in busy downtown Phoenix. This was a real find. A family owned and operated restaurant. The owner often greets the customers, and seems to remember each and every one. Letters of appreciation and photos of friends, family and local celebrities adorne the entry. Once inside, the restaurant is decorated with the usual painted parrots, sombreros, etc. Nothing spectacular about the appearance. Its the food and service that set them apart. I’ve tried nearly every item on the menu, but my favorite is the shredded beef enchilada with green sauce, rice and beans…..As soon as you are seated a server is bringing over fresh made chips and salsa. The bottomless and frequently filled beverages keep my husband happy and the salsa and chips are addictive. Be sure to get some to go! It doesn’t matter how busy the restaurant is…you never get lost in the crowd. The food is fresh and fast allowing you to enjoy a speedy or leisurly lunch or dinner. I eat there once a week like clockwork."
