"I had a great time eating a quick brunch- fried tomatoes was delicious; Before I left to enjoy some festivities with family. This was my first eatery experience in Louisiana and they definitely set the bar!! Rooms are somewhat small but I still enjoyed my stay! Excellent service!!!"

"We visited Animecon2019, where there were no food stands at all, we chose the diner as other food areas were packed. I'm glad we made it! I had the Welssand who and my SO got the chicken and waffles! We both loved it! We didn't expect chickens to be spicy, but it balances the sweetness of the syrup."

"Omg, I stayed at Blake hotel, where this restaurant is next to, I waited till the last day to order food. What a regret. They have the most AMAZING food ever!! I got their shrimp n grits which are so gosh darn yummy. Definitely eat here."

"Friendly staff and I love atmosphere. When I went on a Saturday morning, there was live jazz being played by musicians using a vibraphone and bass. You order at the bar and they’ll bring your food to you. I got the urban bowl and it was pretty tasty and filling."
