"My family recently moved to Gaithersburg, so I thought I 'd give this location a first try. Before though, we lived closer to a different location so I always went there. So I came in toward the end of the day, it was pretty quiet. No customers in line. The staff were pretty lax, and just trying to clean up for the end of the night. They were kind of quiet, but friendly-ish (obviously tired, I understand). I ordered 2 sandwiches, a large fry, and a drink. I 'll start with the large fry: Room temperature, no salt, dry, overcooked, obviously sitting out for a while since there was no traffic. A few were so crunchy that they kind of remind you of those French 's shoe string fries: super crunchy all the way through. It 's like they got tossed back in to a toaster oven, twice. Those fries are like $4, and I received it basically 3/4 of the way full. See picture attached. I added whatever bottom bag fries were in there, so that 's everything. Also, a word of advice. When you 're waiting on 2 sandwiches, don 't go grab the french fry, and then go stand around at the sandwich window for 4 minutes waiting for the sanwiches while the fries sit in the bag getting cold. Moving on to the spicy chicken sandwich: I looked at it, and it actually looked pretty tasty, well breaded. I thought it made up for the french fries. I took a bite into it, and pretty much every bite I took out of it had stringy bits that I had to keep separating. Possibly thawed and refrozen? Or not cooked properly? Who knows. So the sandwich was a bust. Moving on to the double 1/4 with cheese burger: I thought it was pretty hard to mess that up, but I was wrong. Not really any seasoning (I think they just toss salt on, I 've been to a different location and they usually have a tiny bit more taste). The entire burger also had a sort of icky metallic aftertaste. To be honest, I wasn 't sure if it was a **** taste from the meat, or a metallic taste. The burger looked thoroughly cooked through. My family member suggested that maybe the grill wasn 't clean so it was probably metallic. Other things: they only had a single fixing cup left, and usually I 've gotten 3 during the covid era because they usually only put a single tomato slice in each. I 'm used to getting the fixings myself. This particular issue was the least of the issues of course. I wasn 't thrilled, but I understood it was the end of the day, and I know they probably have someone make them early in the morning before refrigerating them. So this trip was a total bust. Not a great first time to this location. I keep going back and forth on whether I should give them the benefit of the doubt and just come back in the daytime. From my experience the last few hours of the night are when the quality tends to dwindle or becomes inconsistent at all locations. But really, it gets pretty tiring spending $16 and every time having to take a gamble on the quality of my High Quality Fast Food as management used to put it. I asked them in the past"
