"This was my first time at TBT; I came for SAD Drag Brunch and had the best time! The entertainment was high energy and memorable. The food was a pleasant surprise and the service was efficient. We ordered the brunch platter for 4 and it did not disappoint. Definitely coming back for another event. Also, Mount Vernon is a historic neighborhood worth a walk through."

"I ordered takeout here. Capital Ale House gets points for fast service and large portions. The restaurant felt very clean and busy when I picked up mid-week. While out of an item, the restaurant made a quick substitution when I arrived. We had the wings with Mexicali seasoning and ranch, salad with strawberry; brie; candied walnuts, and macaroni and cheese. The wings were very good, but may friend found them fattier. The Mac n cheese was nice and creamy with beautiful cavatappi noodles but seemed to lack the sharpness of cheese flavor. The salad had strawberries with the look and texture of being cut several hours earlier and there was no dressing. It’s great that the restaurant is open late for Richmond unlike a lot of places. It’s okay overall."

"my man and I enjoyed the doggie themed decor. we saw leash dogs with patrons get bowls of water and tasty. what was particularly impressed me when I asked for a take-off box (the Entree salad was just a little more than I could eat sharing a Bbq-Cauliflower appetizer) I got a compostable box. the bbq cauliflower appetizer, the steak entree salat I ordered, as well as the chicken sandwich that my man ordered, with the side of sweet potatoes were all very delicious. we were just over at night in the opposite, but we should be close to shepherdstown, ww again we would return."

"We have dined at OSS many times for date night. This is the first time we have ever been told that our table was only available to us until 8 (seated with another couple at 6:30 to catch up and have a nice dinner). I have eaten in thousands of places and never once have been told that. I get it — you want to make money. But our bill is always around $125 for 2 and we don’t want to feel rushed. To us, it was off putting and rude. We love Old Stone but aren’t sure what to think about that …"

"The food and service were good. One thing to note is that there was a wait to get in, even with a reservation. When I arrived at the restaurant and gave my name/reservation I was added to the bottom of the list that was being used to seat people. The wait wasn't too long but they don't hold a table based on the reservation."

"We've been looking for a great sushi place for a while since we moved to the area 2 years ago, we found it at Tsunami. The service was amazing and the food was excellent. The price was, always so light, higher than we are used, but this is probably a sign of time. We sat immediately (I called about 10 minutes in advance) and we were quickly served. This will definitely be our gothic place."

"So I heard about this place and finally checked it. It is a hole in the wall on need of heavy rebuild BUT the staff was polite, service fast and the food was amazing and decently expensive. Much better than cracker barrel, IHOP and waffle house. You have a large menu for breakfast for these 5 stars. I would say if your hunger for breakfast is this the best place to go... the coffee is not terrible, but needs work Two people $27 well worth it"

"JACKIES'S PLACE: This restaurant used to be our favorite. It's a little bit of a drive to get there but we always thought it was worth it we drive by many good restaurants to get there. Great food, friendly waitstaff and fair prices. However the owner passed away and whoever is running it now has issues. We have made the trek out there 3 times and each time they were short staffed, people backed up and yet they had tables that were not being used due to staffing I assume. 3 times in a row we were turned way and ate somewhere else. Tonight we checked their website and they were still open, so we took off for Jackie's nobody can blow it 4 times in a row. We called on the way to check the wait but strangely nobody picked up. We get there and they are now closed on Wednesday nights!!! Sure would be nice to update your website which says you are open or leave a message for callers. I think we are done....there are more professional options in the area."

"Very fresh and delicious! We have the crispy chicken salad, but with shrimps, and the ulcered chicken sandwich. Very good favor, but the dressing was a little thick and there was no ton of avocado on the sandwich, but it still had a lot of good taste. The corn casrole thing was south-west flavored and ok I think if you added some tortilla strips above or some crispy it would be good. Other complaint was the terrace tables were too close together and it was so quiet and unpleasant to talk, and they accused me nine dollars to replace three shrimps for the fried chicken on the salad, my guilt I guess not to ask, but I guess it could not be more than 5. This made a $14 meal in a $23 that I was still hungry after dinner : But the service was nice and the food was good overall."

"This Diner was a really great experience! We ate there in Christmas Eve and Had a nice Chat with the Employees. The Dinner was one of the best meals during our time in the US. We even got Cake on the House. We can absolutely recommend this Diner. The staff was really caring about our wishes, and were really helpful about the lactose intolerance of my daughter. The atmosphere of the Diner was really relaxing. If you're in Secaucus and want to have a nice meal go here and you won't be disappointed."

"The restaurant for high school students is extremely noisy. The quality of the food was disappointing. One of the young patrons was caught vaping in the kitchen by either a server or a busboy. Overall, it was not a pleasant dining experience. It used to be a favorite spot for our group, but we will not be returning in the future."

"I had taken a chance on this restaurant and glad it worked out. This was a girls celebration, we got Alec as our host and he was terrific! We could tell he was busy but let us know he had a large party to service but would be checking with us and keep in touch. The food was very good, drinks good. I traveled from Md my friend from Va Beach, Va. We Will remember this location and will def return!"
