"the service was terrible. After I sat for 15 minutes without water, I flag a waitress and asked her if she would serve us. she appeared overwhelmed and reluctant. the restaurant was less than half full, but the staff appeared overwhelmed. after my order I waited for 15 minutes for the suppe and the salat. I also waited for at least 15 minutes after I had finished the salat for my entrée, and finally someone jumped down to ask where he was. it finally came, but the steak teriyaki was overwhelmed and hard. I have often eaten there and never had such a bad service or a bad meal."

"Met a friend for lunch. A perfect table was available outside. The waitress was attentive but didn't hover. I had the steel cut oatmeal with toppings, and it was perfectly done. My friend had the Vegetarian Skillet, which she has had before and loved. The weather was great, the service was great, the setting was fine (one gets used to parking lot settings in Florida)."

"My husband and I went to MexCocina for lunch. It was not planned, we were shopping in Burbank and stopped for a late lunch. We ordered Steak Fajitas and it was simply amazing. The portions were large and delicious. Nice ambience and warm. People around were friendly and so was the staff. We will definitely go back with our friends."

"I was in the morning at the La Jolla Rec Center for the Dog Fantastic Event. And I was so hungry and looking for a nice lunch. I found here! I have a nice place for me and I ordered a baked bride, it?s very delicious! I definitely love the combination of Brie cheese with some pickled tomatoes, spinach and mushrooms. The potion is also beautiful. It's perfect for a person. The service here is also great. Just what I want to complain is the bathroom, her faucet is very difficult to feel your hands to get the water down?"

"Came in around before noon and it wasn't packed today. I went with the London Port Club which is a roast beef sandwich with bacon avocados and fresh veggies on a marble rye. It also comes with a side and I glad I took the potato salad. I must say the sandwich was amazing. The roast beef is superb and the veggies were crunchy and fresh. Definitely would order it again. It is a decent size sandwich. A bit on the pricey side at $13.50, but it tasted amazing so that's alright. Service was fast and prompt. People behind the counter were nice when I asked for suggestions. They do have a 60 minute table limit, which may bother some. They have a sign for no more wifi service as well. They serve to be a coffee shop with coffee options, but not the place to get work done for more than a hour or so. But in terms of food, it is 5 stars and definitely will come and try again. Seems they have a very successful takeout business and lives up to the hype. Check it out!"
