"How have I never been here before? We were catching a Theatre Charlotte show at Warehouse 242 and, lucky for us, the first two restaurants we stopped in had longer waits than we had time for. Bar-b-q King to the rescue! Definitely a 50s vibe. You pull up to a speaker, order, and a server delivers your tray (not on roller skates though You pay the server, and there is a 3% surcharge for a card, so cash is good here. I got a grilled chicken salad and sis got a chicken club. Even though I'd never been here, I had the good sense to order the onion rings. Definitely a good choice. Light, crunchy, perfectly fried. Next time we'll give it more time as we ended up having to get to-go boxes, which were delivered promptly. Love it. Will go back!"
