"We always love to eat at Home Grown. The food is fantastic and the service is great. This is our first time sitting outside which is a fully covered porch which we enjoyed very much. Just a side note that for tables bigger than two people, they have small barstools which are less comfortable than chairs with no back support. A high back stool would be a nice addition."

"Our server, C, seemed completely clueless, especially about the menu. We had to point things out. That was our main issue. The two that ordered breakfast items were much happier than those who didn't. Also my mother ordered avocado on her sandwich, for an extra charge, and didn't get it. It was much less busy than on our previous visits."

"My parents were visiting and we wanted to take them out to dinner but my dad is very picky and like Normal places to eat. We chose to come here and it was absolutely perfect. Our waitress Madison was very happy and made suggestions to help us order. All of the food was great as were the drinks. I 'm glad we chose here and we will definitely be back."

"Thia-Platz has been part of our spring training ritual for 11 years and is a great place to refuel before and after the catch of the Cubs. Between my husband and me, over the years we have eaten almost every article on the menu and nobody has disappointed! If we had to select favorites, the burgers are great, Mozzarella sticks are fat and gooey, and the greens are fresh. Bonus: the free shuttle to and from the games for Mäzen Thursday Saturday."

"This is the best place at the lake for good food. Not only burgers and pizzas, but Sashimi Tuna, amazing fillet mignon, wonderful pasta, and just about everything you can ask.
