"As for the food, our vegetarian sons were limited to a vegetable platter, with some vegetables tasting like they came from a can or being overly steamed. My wife's dish was thin and overcooked, with an overwhelming taste of crust or breading. The salad, with inedible cherry tomatoes, seemed like it was taken from a bag that had been sitting too long. My order of homemade bratwurst blend lacked flavor and spice, paling in comparison to even a store-bought brand. The meals were pricey, and overall, it was a disappointing evening in the picturesque Colorado mountains. We couldn't help but think we might have had a better dining experience at Frankenstein's Castle. Hopefully, someone will address the unwelcoming atmosphere at the restaurant."
