"I really enjoyed this restaurant. We were looking for an Italian place, and this one fit the bill perfectly. It had a cozy atmosphere, not overly fancy, just nice. The service was excellent, the Chianti was vibrant, and the antipasto platter was delicious. We also ordered fried calamari, which was lightly battered and nicely roasted—not too heavy on the breading and not overly crisp, which can often ruin it. I had the mussels in white sauce, and they were fantastic; the dish had great depth of flavor, was well-seasoned, and featured excellent pasta. I'm very pleased to have discovered this place not too far from home, and I will definitely return to explore more of the menu."
