"We made a reservation for two for restaurant week and were seated at the bar. Honestly, i don’t recall if I was notified of that seating arrangement when I booked the reservation. However, our server was also one of two bartenders, so we waited 10 15 minutes to place our order as much of this time was spent making drinks. It was probably a reflection of staffing, not necessarily our server. Based on the recommendations from our server, we did not participate in the restaurant week menu. We ordered the New England Clam Chowder, which, while it tasted great, my husband struggled to find many clams in it. We ordered two raw oysters and two baked oysters. The baked oysters were underwhelming , so I wouldn’t recommend those. We ordered the Shrimp Scampi Dip, which was delicious albeit very, very rich. My husband ordered the fish and chips and was satisfied with the dish nothing extraordinary but definitely not disappointing. I ordered two Ahi Tuna Tacos that were fantastic! I would highly recommend the tacos as an appetizer or entree. The tacos are sold individually, which is kind of a bummer. Add one glass of wine, and our meal cost about the same as two Restaurant Week meals. As we aren’t really dessert people and only one of us was drinking, ordering off the menu better suited us."
