"the spicy tofu dish was not only delicious, but it looked fantastic! it was not spicy enough, but I asked for a side of chili paste and it was perfect. for an appetizer, the schishito paprika are a hit! they have a ingwer garlic seasoning rubbed on them that taste packed. the veggie miso suppe was the disappointment. it was bland and needs more taste. However, it was nice to see vegan options whether they want sushi, ramen, appetizer or a teller."

"I like the atmosphere! It more of a Japanese Korean fusion inspired restaurant. Cute soju bottle decor This is what I ordered : Homemade Crab Puffs 4/5 a bit too much cream cheese in the mix. The wonton crunch was thin and crispy. Takoyaki 3/5 flavor was there but it was dense and too gooey inside. Spicy Salmon Roll 4/5 basic spicy salmon roll. Chicken Katsu Bento Box 4/5 it’s a lot of food. The salad and the dressing was the first part I finished. The gyoza was alright there wasn’t a lot of flavor in it though. California rolls were basic California rolls. The chicken Katsu had a really nice crunch was juicy and moist but it just needed to be tossed in salt for a second. Overall I had a good experience here. I was able to eat my leftovers for dinner I’ll probably come back for happy hour."

"While we go on holiday through Santa Cruz, we decided to try this restaurant based on the reviews. It is one of the better rated restaurants in the area. The location is amazing... You drive on a small pier where there are a number of restaurants and shops. Many birds, seals and people fish. Great place to hang out and enjoy the view. The restaurant itself is quite cool, they have small windows in the floor so you can see the seals hanging under the restaurant. The ambience is the place, so we asked for a table at the window. No one was available and the hostess offered us no opportunity to wait, she said she could have us in the bar area, the offered rotating seats so give everyone the opportunity to have a window view. She said it was really nice and people like it, so we went unwillingly with it and hated it. It's like going to dinner several times from night to day. When the wheel turns, go from light to dark, then back to light, then dark. It was a very depressing experience for us. Also within 5 minutes of sitting, all except one of their window seats were available. It would have been nice if the hostess was attentive enough to realize almost all through the window, had finished their meals and was ready to go before they were on this rotating bike. Nevertheless, we turned an hour. Our waitress gave recommendations on drinks we tried. Nothing that happened there, they were pretty, but fruity, beaten kind of drinks. The food was decent. My husband ordered the burger who was slightly dry, but the Mayo and Pineapple salsa added a great taste to the dish. I ordered the cattle and chicken kegs. They had no taste, but were edible. We were underwhelmed by all the experience. Also, we were really upset with the waiter constantly on foot. You have to go over the rotary wheel to get to the kitchen, so that she constantly went around tables to get drinks and food that increases the inconvenience of the culinary experience."

"I really enjoy this restaurant, but they always serve large-sized Boba drinks late at night. The smaller-sized drinks just don't measure up. My son also loves their popcorn chicken. The large-sized drinks are great, and my top choices for Boba Snow flavors are green apple and passion fruit."

"Since the moment we were there, the host was very rude. She said the waiting time would be 30 minutes, even after our reservation time. We sat in the “wait zone”, but as a larger group, she pulled us out where we sat on a small bank where we didn’t fit. She was rude and the service was very unprofessional. Very disappointed"

"I have coveted loaded fries, and their menu did not disappoint. I ordered the "animal" fries, which is their vegan take on my old In N Out favorite. They also have buffalo ranch, bacon cheese, and chili cheese (all vegan). I also ordered the soulfood sushi roll. I'm not used to making "cream" based recipes (cream cheese and mayo-based sauce,) so although it was delicious, it was too rich for me. I would definitely try other roles! You are now fully VEGAN! "Repeat customer. The first time we had dinner and just loved it. Today, we had lunch. I ordered a 2 item bento box. The chicken katsu and combo tempura was hot, delicious, and abundant. The box came with salad, 2 pieces of California roll, and white rice. I will definitely return when in the area."

"We enjoyed most of the sushi we ordered as they all seemed fresh and enjoyed some unique combos. Only thing it was a little pricey, but we would rather have quality sushi once in a while. Would come back again! Would have appreciated less TVs as there were 3 and I like going to places where my little one would focus more on his meal. Yellowtail sashimi -was melt in your mouth succulent. Albacore carpachio- had jalapeno and another spicy seasoning on it. Pretty tasty if you're ok w spicy. Classic combo- good, nothing special. Ordered it for a kid. Mango salmon- loved the ratio of salmon to mango and appreciated that the mango was ripe. "Haven’t had a dining experience this poor in a long time. They had no record of our reservation even after I showed them the confirmation email, tried to make us wait at the bar despite several open tables that had been set aside for other reservations that were 15+ minutes late. They were understaffed undertrained. It took a long time to be waited on even then, the server couldn’t tell us if anything was vegan or vegetarian, but did share that the ramen “came in a bag”. There were a few rosés on the wine list, but we were handed glasses of “the only pink wine I could find”. Some of the food was good (fried chicken, veggie tempura) and some was barely edible (scallion pancake). But it all came out so late, we barely made our show."
