"For a bistro, my expectations fell flat. We went for brunch service on a Sunday afternoon and the place was buzzing. While families celebrated birthdays on the mezzanine, gal pals commanded the main floor. The ambiance is well put together and the lay out works to their advantage. But it was the food, we found lackluster. The quality of the ingredients was noticeable but their execution, not memorable at all. Service was attentive and cordial, but one major dining slip is to bring appetizers and minutes later our entrees. With his fork in route to his mouth, my friend was asked if he was still working on his huge avocado toast. Yes, in comic disbelief. All in all, the $155 food bill was acceptable because between us we did have four drinks (3 mimosas, 1 mojito) with our meal, but I can’t help but feel still, “Was that all?” Sigh..."
