"ignore the noise level rating IMI deaf... lol..... so I clicked quiet. lol. The food was outtanding value great for the money.. I had the nachos which were a little spicy for my taste but great and I also had the veg fajitas, which were also great,, firm plump but cooked hot vegetables,, not wimp vegetables,, firm, held their shape, i also appreciate that it *seems* to me that your restaurant is NOT one of these places that simply serves up fat, salt and sugar instead of relying on INGREDIENTS FOR THE FLAVOR, SHAPE, TEXTURE, ill be back i go to Spa Logic (for foot reflexology after all your staff stands up for 8 hours see Celina ....... you wont regret it) so im in the neighborhood frequently and do plan to come back.. also i appreciated the generous bean serving with the veg added protein great"

"The people that were guests like myself were very friendly. I asked the host to see if there was a wait and she said no. So I went to grab my family from the car and came back to the restaurant. Then she told my wife to wait for an open table. So thehost lied to me and I was not happy about that. Then we waited for like 10 minutes and a couple came in, walked to the host andshe sat them right away! She came back and looked at us and said are you ready? Just wow! I said to myself, so I proceeded to goto the table and review this place. This establishment's customer service is not the greatest. We waited for our server foranother 15 or 20minutes to get our drinks. The water is tap water you can taste it. We placed our order and waited for our foodfor about an hr. Our complimentary chips and salsa came with our dinner. The food was cold as you can see in my picture. I gotthe steak and breaded chili with rice and beans. The rice was overcooked! It’s like eating mashed potatoes and it was gross.The beans were bland and the lettuce was old. The lettuce was slimy and wasn’t crunchy. The breaded chili with cheese wasgood. It had flavor from the red and green chili sauce on it. Without the sauce, it would be bland. The steak was cold and dry.I asked for medium cooked and they gave me medium well done. My lips didn’t smack at this joint! The other dishes I tried weredisappointing also. The adovada tasted sour like it was old meat. It was gross! Overall I was not satisfied with the plates Igot. The place looks nice just not the food. The service was horrible, the host is a lair and seems racist cause of my skincolor. Food is cold with overcooked mashed rice, bland beans, old veggies, and sour meat. Nah I’m straight with this place,don’t waste your money for real!!!"

"I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DINING HERE! It's a wonderful spot for a leisurely, satisfying meal paired with fancy cocktails and beautiful appetizers. They offer brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, and I noticed a lot of mimosas being served during our visit. Although we didn’t order mimosas, I enjoyed an excellent shot of tequila from their fantastic selection. The food is great, and the prices are reasonable. The staff here is exceptional, making the experience even better—you’ll feel cooler just by being there! It’s a perfect place for a date night; you can dress up a little and blend in seamlessly. "Everything there is great, but i love their Mexican dishes especially. *update* food was still great. Seemed like they have a new crew because it seemed very difficult to ring up a souper bowl omelet. Service was slower then normal with only a fewother tables around 11am the tables were all dirty. As i cleaned my own table the thing that really angered me was seeing thetwo young teens that looked like brothers who were standing in the corner facing my direction. One couldn't stop spinning hisdirty cleaning rag like a pizza right next to food pickup the other was glued to his phone. I was happy i cleaned my owntable that the one who was spinning the rag went m.i.a then our food was up. Although ill continue to come back here, i hopethey get these young workers some training on what is/isn't sanitary in the food industry"

"First the pros: the food was good (except for the side Caesar salad), generous portions, fair prices. The cons: VERY POOR SERVICE. Our waiter acted like he was completely bored. Never looked at us when taking our orders. I ordered a glass of sangria, it never came. I noticed others around us got theirs promptly. I asked about it twice. He ignored me and it arrived after the appetizers, around the same time as my main course. He never came back to refill our glasses. When he brought the check, again he never made eye contact nor thanked us for coming. We were celebrating my birthday and my husband made a special trip ahead of time to reconfirm the reservations and tell them it was a birthday dinner. Of course nothing was done for us, but I noticed other people did get a birthday treat. I told the hostess on the way out about the terrible service. She smiled and seemed to know exactly who I was referring to. The poor service really put a damper on an evening I was looking forward to. My husband I agreed we would go again, but make sure we had another waiter."

"Excellent place, I enjoyed everything. The Customer Service was great. Nachos and salsa was excellent. I would definitely recommend, the wait wasn't long at all. Me and my friends were going to eat somewhere else the wait was 45- 60 minutes long, so we decided to come here, So happy we did, we were seated right away. Our server, was a male, didn't get his name, but he was awesome and he received a great tip from all 3 of us. With us was my 5 year old son he had a cheese burger and fries, they give lots of fries too, my son enjoyed it. Thank you. They also greeted us with a smile when we got there, and when we left and it was raining when we left. It's Eat in and out doors, but wear a mask to enter until seated."

"It's good food and I liked her icy coffee but would have preferred more egg in my French toast, but I loved the compote that went with him. It is a busy place, so expect a bit to wait, but take the time to walk around and it will not feel long at all. We have the Müsli Chestnut Toast, the sweet cream and hazelnut ice cream, the Chilaquiles and their posole and bread. The Mexican bread is extremely salty, but goes well with the posole if you put enough on it. I would try again, more on her menu."

Here at Taqueria Hacienda it has stayed consistent even during Covid . "Mid-August, Kauai is overwhelmed with tourists and staffing challenges make it difficult for restaurants trying to recoup revenue lost during the pandemic. Hence, two more stars than I would have given pre-pandemic. Our young server was wonderful, and very apologetic as she informed us they were short staffed so the bar wasn’t serving cocktails. Which was fine for me since I’m trying to cut my sugar intake but I feel for all the tourists on vacation who want to party. We had to send my daughter’s mac and cheese back because it was lukewarm to the point that the cheese wasn’t melted completely. It came back warmed, and with more cheese on top but she wasn’t happy. Especially since they didn’t even bother trimming the seeds from the apple slices. Her dinner was a fail all around. My opakapaka was good (broccoli and carrots were undercooked tho) and the hubby’s blackened ahi was ok. Clearly not one of their best nights. Again, I’d come back just for that server but there are so many other restaurants on Kauai to try. I’d say they should try limiting the number of customers they’re serving at a time but I realize the economic pressures of trying to keep people employed while staying alive as a business. But I’ve worked hard for my money as well, and that experience just wasn’t one I want to repeat."

"Absolutely love Los Pitayos. I've been coming here to eat ever since I was a child and it was named something else. The food is always very delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are so great, friendly, and efficient. The owner is very nice and always greets me when coming in. I eat here in person and order a lot of Doordash from here and it never disappoints. Chori Pollo is one of my favorite dishes of all time. Best Mexican restaurant in Troy."
