"Enjoyed a lovely dinner with my husband and father on a Sunday evening. I was surprised how many available tables there were given the amazing service and food. We’ve been here before years ago and this time was even better. Started with the goat cheese and spinach spread appetizer They have more wine beyond the list so be sure to ask. We had the Chaos Theory from Brown Estate with the Filet, Sea Bass, and house-made pasta dish with sausage. Finished off with strawberry puffs and peanut butter crème brûlée with 20 yr Tawny port. "Prices don’t match quality or quantity of food. For a $14 Mongolian beef dish you would expect beef, right? The container was full but less than a quarter of it actually had beef, it was spread so scarcely and I had to wade through an entire chopped onion in sauce to barely find any meat. Prices are way too high for them to be that stingy with their food. The flavor definitely doesn’t match price point either. The other items were ok. I was charged almost $50 for a beef dish, an appetizer, lo mein and fried rice. Definitely not worth it, won’t be coming back."

"The orange chicken is so good that I was twice a week! After chain restaurants serving well orange chicken, I wouldn't find this place. The orange chicken has oranges in it. Crab-Rangoon and hot and sour soup were both great!"

"BEST CHINESE IN STL! I’m seeing these bad reviews scratching my head because I’ve been eating her rather regularly since I was in college. I live near by and I order at least 2x a month. The Kung Poa Chicken meal is so flavorful and the sauce is well seasoned. The rice is always kickin. Their General Tso’s chicken is so perfectly made and so garlicy!!!! I can’t get enough of this place. I’ve legit never had a bad experience with them and my buddies and I will meet up here often for food. I can not imagine giving 1 star because of missed sauces. Some of y’all are unforgiving and bitter."

"Took almost 2 hours to get our food also my wife ordered a water and that took 20 minutes to get and I had received my drink also and even let the waitress know after about 5 to 10 minutes that my wife didn't receive her water. Then after we did get her water and our alcohol I had to send mine back because my long island had stuff floating in it. Finally received our food which was mediocre I wouldn't brag on it but it wasn't that bad just better options in my opinion. I really would like to give them a second chance just to see if the service would be better but don't know if it's worth the time. The customers at the other table got up and walked out because it was taking way to long to receive drinks and honestly was a couple times we almost got up and left but I kept wanting to give them a chance."

"He lived in town for a long time. The shops go. This is a staple. My daughter is 47 and wants another birthday cake from there. They have amazing tea cookies, but they sell quickly. I just took care of two today. Bagels are chewing outside, soft inside. I also love the Elephant Ear pastries. My guilty pleasure"

"For some reason I was expecting this to be an upscale restaurant. It is not. It’s a somewhat casual restaurant. But I’ve got to tell you the food was excellent! When you are in the mood for real deal Italian food this is the place to come! Service was very good, my friend had chicken piccata that was outstanding, And my linguini with Putanesca (sp?)sauce was terrific! I’m definitely going back next time I’m in Charlotte."
