"An accidental visit to this Mexican Restaurant as we passed through Clarksburg, WV on our vacation trip back to New England did not disappoint. This hole in the wall family run restaurant serves the best Mexican food we have had in years. The waiter was friendly. This fabulous gem will be part of our itinerary the two or more times each year we pass through the area."

"The prices have risen and they are not even worth paying for the price increase if their food is bland, no taste found in these tacos. I'm ready to pay extra for good food, but that's definitely not it. No authentic taste found somewhere in these tacos. Not worth $20 to eat. I'm just giving them that they were pretty fast. I would regain El Mercadito for legitimate authentic Mexican food. Again, I can't stress how dirty the food was. I didn't want it on every palate."

"Had a doctor appointment in Richmond, we stopped and had lunch . What a fabulous experience ? Jennifer was a wonderful person who waited on us. We sat outside on this beautiful day. Awesome service, and let me tell the food was delicious. Decor clean and fresh inside. If u are in or not from Richmond u need to stop by and have a drink and food. And say hi to Jennifer and staff"

"the service is good, the food....It is not so much. seems as if they cut corners to make it cheaper. salsa tastes like tomato sauce from a glass, the whole bark swimming in fat, and its version of a chile relleno was only bark meat on a dish with small pieces pfeffer in it. not impressed."

"Typically always a good choice. This time the food quality was decreased. Ordered a steak burrito with only the steak no veggies or cheese. My son said his dish was good but seemed different. Very crowded but no wait. Prices have increased post-Covid like many places have."
