"Thankfully we had a reservation. Gustav was very busy, there was a line to come. We've eaten there before it closes July 11th. It seems like many others have the same idea. Our food was delicious and our server was great even though it was very busy. What to know before you go: make reservations. The menu online is not up to date. Because it is closed, Gustav's menu is limited. But we found options we wanted and all were delicious. Applestrudel is the offered dessert. Order fondue! If the menu had not been limited, our rating would have been 5. We'll miss Gustavs!"

"I went in last night, this was my first time. I went with a friend who had recently discovered this place as well. We opted to sit in the bar to be able to watch the basketball game. From the moment we sat down everything about this experience got better and better as the evening progressed. We started with fondue, ordered dinner and finished up with the Apple strudel dessert. Each time a plate got put in front of us it was better and better. I was blown away with the quality of the food, the amazing service that Nick provided and everything about the entire experience. How have I not been here before? We will definitely be going back soon, and I will highly recommend to everybody I know! Thank you Gustav’s for a wonderful dining experience!"

"We were grateful to have a reservation at Gustav's as it was very busy, with a line forming to get in. This visit was bittersweet as we learned that the restaurant would be closing on July 11th. It seemed like many others had the same idea to dine there before it shut down. Despite the bustling atmosphere, our food was delicious and our server was excellent. A tip for future diners would be to make reservations in advance, as the online menu may not be updated and the selection at Gustav's is now limited. However, we were still able to find tasty options to enjoy, including the signature apple strudel for dessert. We highly recommend trying the fondue as well. If it weren't for the limited menu, we would have given Gustav's a perfect rating. We will miss this restaurant dearly."

"The food was delicious, but the service was terrible. It's disappointing because I used to enjoy this place. The manager who came to our table was also very rude. Despite the waitress making multiple mistakes and forgetting our entree and drink orders, the manager refused to comp our beverages to make up for the poor service. The waitress even denied that we had ordered the items when we inquired about them. The overall experience was the worst my friend and I have ever had, and we are still shocked by it. We will not be returning."

"The food was fresh, the ambience was nice and the restaurant was clean. I ordered a Cobb salad that came with applewood bacon, and paid an additional 3.00 to add chicken. My son ordered a Turkey sandwich. The food was not bad. It was actually good but not great. My problem is with the skimping on the proteins. My salad had so little bacon, that I had to look through the salad to make sure that they didn't forget to add it. I eventually found a few small pieces but there was so little that you couldn't taste in in the salad. The chicken that I added was also a very small portion and my sons sandwich was also small. Overall, the food was good and the customer service was good. I just don't like when you pay a premium for food and the restaurant skimps on the portions, especially the protein which is the foundation of the meal."

"Oh my goodness! The service at this restaurant is incredibly fast. I ordered the Salmon Salad and the Southwest Sandwich, and within about 5 minutes, the food was already being served at my table. I have never experienced such quick service at a restaurant before. Bravo! Not only was the service speedy, but the food was also delicious. Additionally, parking is free and the service is top-notch for dine-in customers."

"The burger I had definitely fits in my top 10. It was good. My only suggestion is one for the owner/manager: you need to get your staffing figured out. It wasn’t even a weekend day and the place was mildly busy but there were only two waiting staff. This meant LOTS of empty tables and a long wait. We waited about 35 minutes when there were only a few people in line ahead of us. This is a college town, I know there are plenty of people that are looking for part-time work.The staff working that night were great, you could tell they were running around ragged. They did the best they could under the circumstances and were very apologetic. I’m not going to ding them at all. The reason we waited is because we heard this place had great food (and it was great), but I’d only go back if I know I had time to spare."

"Chicken wings had too many feathers left on it, very little flavor and was under cooked (pink at each break) waffles small and thin.I ordered the breakfast sandwich with Alfredo grits. The sandwich was big. My bacon was fatty (under cooked to my liking), and the grilled tomatoes didn't taste good on it. My grits were very tasty and full of flavor, but the sausage flavor was off. Almost tasted spoiled. $61.00 later with 2 coffees."

"The food and the atmosphere approximate the Bavarian region of Germany. The walls are beautifully painted to appear as if you are looking out large picture windows at the Alps. The restaurant is broken up into smaller dining areas which keeps the noise level down to a bearable level, even when the place is packed. Strolling musicians in Lederhosen and Bavarian costume play polka on accordions and occasionally sing German tunes. The food is excellent! The price you pay is consistent with the atmosphere and the experience of dining in Europe without the plane ticket. This is the place we go for celebrations and when we are homesick for Germany. The beer and wine selection is extensive. The vegetarian options are limited but delicious (I go with the Polenta), I still go there every chance I get! The best part, in my opinion, is the fondue! They automatically bring out a pot of fondue and pieces of bread (you can order sausage and crab for dipping too). I'll eat here every chance I get!"

"This Urbane Cafe was a relaxed ordering experience. Placed my order, visited Trader Joe?s across the parking lot, and got my order all in less than 30 minutes. A great location for getting it all done, organizing dinner, and groceries in a short period of time. All Urbane locations seem to have a slightly different menus, but they are all good. "Right now, I could really use a Sizzler nearby. For an affordable price, you can dine here by yourself or with a group of people, hang out and enjoy great comfort food, surroundings, and service. The salad bar is one of the best around. You can get fried chicken, fajitas, tacos, soft serve, spaghetti (on some nights), and soups. There are many choices I usually go with the salad bar option. The Texas toast that comes to the table is amazing. According to the restaurant, there is a nationwide shortage of chicken wings, so check before you go, if that is going to be a dealbreaker. September 13, 2022: The fried chicken wings are back! Plenty of seating on the weekdays. $16.99 per person for the salad bar buffet. Senior citizens buffet price is the same as regular and they get a free regular drink (i.e. soda, ice tea), but you have to tell the cashier."
