"Cute ambiance and great burger and fries!I’m giving it 3 stars because even with it being a slow night at the restaurant, the service wasn’t great. We weren’t really attended to and it took them a while to place our order. The waitress also failed to bring us the appetizer we ordered which seemed like a miss since she wrote down our order. Not sure who dropped the ball there. And aside from the burger, not sure I would want anything else on the menu."

"the first time in the new sweet cane cafe. I wish I had gone a lot earlier. inside it is like a cool Berkeley cafe with orchids. the chipotle bean burger ordered, asked her to hold the bungalow because I am on keto. they replaced the brot with delicious greens and tomato beautiful! eating and chai tee were both very good. my friend had the suppe of the day and said she loved it. wonderful, friendly staff with a lot of aloha spirit. it will go my new favorite place for a healthy meal."

"Easy to see directly from Old County Road Service Plainview and the adjacent areas of Nassau County. Many parking spaces and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Clean facilities. Appropriately expensive. Credit cards accepted. Big staff mainly owner Steve Cohen who treats you like family. Very recommended! We're definitely going back."

"I must start by saying I am a HUGE fan of this restaurant, this space and the service. I was a tad confused that, despite our early reservation (and only about 9 patrons in the restaurant), we were not able to place our order for about 10 minutes post being seated. Odd. However, once our server did take care of our order everything went smoothly and in line with the high standards of service and enjoyment we've come to expect from the Stables. I mention this as I believe it to be an anomaly, not a feature. I heartily recommend The Stables to anyone who loves great food, great drinks, well paired wine and a convivial atmosphere in a really nice Fan space.."

"I booked this restaurant on the fly when my mother vater announced her plan on visiting wichita,KS before Saturday morning. we arrived and ordered almost one of all was absolutely blown away by the taste profiles plate presentation! it was so delicious that we had to get to know the cook, thank him for his craft! 5/5 on drinks the only contrast to this place would be the name brix, we were told it is a measurement of the amount of sugar in drinks. we do not believe that the name of the atmosphere or the food fits. the food should be the spotlight of this place, drinks are everywhere, but this type of authenticity is not! for a place that is absolutely amazing for about 56/months. many thanks for the hostess of my family, we will be back!"

"I was overcharged on the smoothie I got because in order to pick the size, it adds another cost of the drink. $9.19 ended up $18.38 or something like that. Aside from that, which i assume is an honest mistake in the setup, the food was PHENOMENAL!!!! Like I was blown out of the water.. delicious. 5 stars and i know doordash will likely take care of the other stuff. theyve got the cooking DOWN. Poke bowls was amazing, brie/fig toast was just what i hoped for. Smoothie was so fresh."

"30 years I've been a customer and so has my family. We all enjoy the service and their fresh bagels. Even live the fact we can pre order for holidays. Their breakfast sandwiches are amazing, as well as their platters. Over never had anything worth saying bad about. Maybe once in a blue their sandwich might look messy or u might get a shell. But over all this is just normal workers just like us. It happens. The prices are about normal as to other bagel stores. But there's just something about these bagels that make me keep coming back. As well as my family. We've tried others especially since I've moved. Nope I'll drive to selden to get my bagels. Even my brother who moved 8 hours away will have me order here and bring them down with me. So I wanna say thank you for all your doing as well as thank you to your employees..."

"Awesome shop. The owner was very nice and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure chatting with her. We bought the Tayberry, Habenerjo pineapple and elderberry jam and it was all soooooo good. The habenerjo pineapple was almost gone by the 2nd day because my family was putting it on everything. My 7yr old who HATES seeds ate up the Tayberry jam as well. Wonderful products. My kids are already begging me to have some shipped once we get back to our home state."
