"The only reason I gave a 3 out of 5 rating is due to the chlli cheese dog. In old days DQ had some of the best coney sauce anywhere, but since DQ doesn't use a national recipe the new local DQs don't have that same flavor as before. Additionally the Chili Cheese dogs had plenty of cheese melted, but I suspect that is conceal the incredibly small amount of chili sauce on them. I tried these a few months ago and thought it was a one off bad dog, but I doubt I'll try again after this. One a positive note though, the Mocha, Oreo blizzard was excellent with just the right hint of coffee mixed in w/o being too strong for the other flavors."

"It’s DQ so no surprises. They do have chocolate ice cream to sub into mixes though which means we pick blizzard from here over other local choice very often. I did get worst banana split here once. The banana was so hard, it actually crunched! Didn’t even know they could do that! If my carload hadn’t been laughing so hard about it, I would have been very, very unhappy ‘cause this stuff ain’t cheap for fake ice cream. Luckily my peeps shared their desserts with me so all was not lost. The split is just a boring sundae with mediocre toppings without the banana. For me, the banana is why I order it. Overall, the blizzard are good. The Espresso Toffee is really good and pretty much everything with peanut butter. Eat a combo and upgrade the to the blizzard. Much better deal than doing just dessert."

"I came by late the commemorative day and went back to my hometown. The dining room was closed, so I went through the window. The Google Card search erroneously said they were open until 10:00, but it should have said 9:30, after the owner. He was the one who took my order when I moved up shortly after 9:30. He was friendly enough to take my order, although they were technically closed. I pulled up so he could lock the window and then bring my food to me. He did and made sure I needed nothing else before I left. We had a nice chat for a minute or two."

I smashed the whole thing and my shake (belly is smiling it was just that good WOW!!! Also ordered Royal New York Cheesecake BLIZZARD Treat for later and I already know its the best dang cheesecake ice cream I have ever had!!!!! "The fish sandwich was very good, dressed as requested. The chicken strip basket with cheese curds was OK, but would have been better with the gravy dip. An extra gravy dip was requested, but no gravy dip at all was received, It would be so nice if someone made sure all items paid for on the receipt were in the bag."

"I got a large cotton candy blizzard and when I got it where I was going, it was mint! I hate mint. This isn't the first time I have had mistakes with them. "I visited this restaurant because I was really in the mood for chicken tenders, and I knew that Dairy Queen offered them as well as a discount for WCU students. Unfortunately, we were unable to get the discount when we ordered. Despite this, the food was reasonably priced and did not detract from my experience. I ordered the chicken strips basket and decided to upgrade the fries to cheese curds for a small additional charge. The chicken strips were delicious, crispy, and tender. The texas toast was unique, as the "butter" was similar to what movie theaters offer for popcorn. The cheese curds were tasty, but had a slightly oily aftertaste. Overall, the food was satisfying and the service was excellent, with friendly staff."

"I rarely ever eat fast food and this here is an example of why... a few bites into my flame thrower burgie, I have the sickening sensation of hair twirling around my tongue. The even worse sensation of pulling the strand from my mouth full of food and its a very short light brown hair in which I can still see the white follicle. I have waist length jet black hair.... It could maybe be possible it's one of my son's that SOMEHOW got into my bite? So I rotate the sammich and take a bite from the back and ANOTHER disgusting same short brown hair is inside. I gag. And shame on whoever was working last night at 6 with no hair net dropping their DNA in people's food. Y'all need to get it together"
