"Great place to eat some good Japanese food. The kids loved the golden California roll, and I really loved the spicy salmon roll. The red snapper that my wife had was delicious. And my katsu ramen was fantastic. Staff seemed a little bit busy so there were some minor details missed, other than that we had a great time. Great place to bring the family, or meetup with friends. Insider tip: don't sit in the booths facing the door at sunrise. Every time someone would open the door I would get a sun burst blast in the face. Literally a blinding experience! Parking: Lots of parking in a big lot."

"Every once in a while, you discover a place that presents a cuisine totally different than the rest. Sasaki is that place for me. We’ve been conditioned in Houston to expect thin slivers of sushi quality fish on a bed of rice or, cool sounding rolls with all manner of spicy/savory drizzles. I like all types of sushi, but Sasaki isn’t about the elaborate. They present the seafood as the main attraction. Huge slices, no embellishments. Nothing fancy. Perfect. Please don’t go to Sasaki expecting what we as Houstonians typically expect. It’s surprising and in a delightful way. Sasaki is my favorite and for good reason!"

"The food wasn't great, but it was edible.We paid for the all-you-can-eat option that included the nigiri sushi. We first got the sushi and I was a bit worried. The fish wasn't fresh at all and looked dried out. The sushi rice was overseasoned with vinegar and much too sour. The rolls were cut unevenly and came apart easily when using chopsticks. The miso soup and seaweed salad tasted store-bought, like the pre-made stuff you'd get at a Restaurant Depot. The only thing my wife and I enjoyed was the salmon skin salad, where the salmon skin was at least crispy.In terms of ambiance, it was darkly lit inside but you could tell the interior was run down and the owner didn't put much time in upkeep and appearance. The only bright spot was that the server was very attentive and pleasant."

"We had a lovely evening at Pisces. Our waiter, Tony, was fantastic attentive, fast and efficient. He explained and assisted when deciding on what to order. The ambiance was awesome, as my husband and I had one of those cool booth enclosed tables in their main dining room. Food was fast, fresh and piping hot if it was a hot dish. "the food and the quality is much overpriced the soup bowl of my mannes was not even a portion size. I ordered the seaweed salad, it was very dry and dirty, the early roll were very oily and fell apart when the waiter came. my man ordered a drink, took sooo long we finished the order since we finished eating. the sushi was cold as we ordered the tempura, it should be at least room temperature. we will not go back, it was a great disappointment."

"THE BEST FRIED RICE, ever. I got the steak fried rice, and it's much different from traditional Chinese fried rice. It's so good, taste so fresh and the steak is never hard to chew it's always cooked to perfection. I've been here with my familymultiple different times and I can defiantly say they are consistent as well. The customer service is wonderful, all the staffwe have encountered with have been kind and taken care care of us. The sushi is amazing! It's very fresh every time we have it.The seasoning of the chicken is so good and comes with this delicious sweet sauce. THE PORK EGG ROLLS amazing! crunchygoodness every time! The ramen noodles were great too, the broth had such a great flavor. Everything we've tried has been greatand we will keep coming back here. Not pictured is the steak with noodles, also so good. "Service was slow. After sitting for almost 10 min, we were finally asked if we had been helped. After our dishes which arrived in a a staggering fashion, were finally able to check out after hunting down the waitress. My wife and I have had stomach issues that night and the next day.
