"We arrived early for our 6:15 reservation and were seated right away, but the table left a LOT to be desired. We were only offered a choice of two tables for two people. One was right by the door to the kitchen the other was in a corner with one diner looking into a corner. We took the one that left my husband looking at the wall. But as the evening went on, many of the tables for four were separated into tables for two. I 'm annoyed that was not a solution we were offered. There were only about four other groups eating when we arrived. It would have been nice to get closer to the view of Embarcadero plaza, but we were told those tables were only for large groups. If we go again, we will go for a reservation later in the evening, when at least we have a chance for a better table. That said, the food was delicious. We were both very pleased with our selections. I had the scallops cubed steak with green beans. The cubes of beef were medium rare the scallops were cooked through but not chewy, The green beans were coated in the black bean sauce too, very well cooked, still some crunch! My husband had the seafood pumpkin soup and eggplant. For dessert we had egg buns and a mango grapefruit pudding , which was more like a soup. All the food was excellent the lychee martini was delicious. There appeared to be an abundance of wait staff, but they seemed confused about what they should be doing at times. We were well taken care of though, by several different people, until claimed by one waiter. I would recommend Harborview (in fact I already have! to anyone. Just be prepared to ask them to separate a table for four, so you aren 't left facing a wall."
