"I tried Puket (Phuket? Curry extra hot. Menu says it's milder. Waitress said it's different sauce from Red curry. Was it good? Yeah. But not as good as Red, imo. I'll try Red next time. EDIT: Red curry great. See pic. Dragon and Rainbow rolls were good too. (For any noob beginners, yellow curry is like India food, lots of tumeric I think cumin. Red Thai curry is very different. Panang is like Red but with gritty ground peanuts. Massaman is milder and sweeter. Dragon Roll was delicious. No pics. P.S. she said it comes on a plate. I thought, curry with sauce should be in a bowl .. kinda like soup. Well, it *did* come in a shallow bowl with wide rim, like pics, so that was good."

"Today(4/21/20 I ordered the crunch roll, two crab Rangoon orders and and the vegetarian spring rolls. I’ll admit that after reading the most recent reviews...I was a bit skeptical, but I wanted to go ahead and give them a chance anyways as the menu looked good. I most certainly haven’t been disappointed! My whole order tasted amazing, and it cost under $20.00 for everything! The front house staff is super nice and the whole process was quick and easy. "we called twice into the execution to be taken wrong and did not recognize it until we made it home. good eating, but quite expensive for the small portions. we go here for special occasions if we want something that we can find nowhere else in the city, but I suggest that they meet china garden for Chinese food and go for other Asian dishes from the city."

"Many vegan options, our waiter was very helpful and knowledge about what to order. I asked for the yellow curry, and he immediately warned me that this cannot be made vegan as it uses fish as an aroma. So, I ordered the red curry with vegetables and tofu and my mother ordered the green curry with vegetables and tofu that are both safe vegan. The flavors were so delicious, the tofu was great, and the vegetables were great. I loved everything about the red curry. The green curry was also good, but I liked my order better. Also the ambience of the restaurant is very quiet, relaxing, and the restaurant seems clean and well maintained."

"I wanted to eat something that was both soothing and new, so I thought try a new Asian restaurant, maybe soup or appetizers. I liked it. Batik specializes in dumplings. I rarely buy dumplings, so I was a little insecure. Then I saw that they had ALSO a disgusting soup! Just what my stress levels have ordered. I have the chicken/shrimp/cilantro dumplings in the soup. It came in a charming cast iron pot (see Pic! . I was glad I had the soup. The dumplings were tasty, but I felt that they were better when I diverted them into the broth before everyone bite! The soup itself was quite mild. Probably expensive for most Americans, but I liked it was gentle on the stomach. It was absolutely shocked full of cabbage, carrot slivers and noodles. I don't know what kind. Yummy. I couldn't finish my part, but it was very satisfying! A few reviews here mention the waiting time/server. He was very nice, a little slow to take my order, but the food came shockingly fast, and he was good in every respect. Nice area too. Plan to return to lunch!"
