"Had a great time at dinner with friends. The food was very good, but the service was better friendly, warm, very attentive. We stayed past closing and our server was super accommodating. The salads and Mac cheese that the three of us had were all tasty. Nothing terribly inventive, but definitely well prepared, and reasonably priced"

"No photos unfortunately. I was here with two others earlier. Service was friendly and accommodating. We started with three appetizers and each got a main dish. I ordered a tamarind juice to drink which was slightly watered down but fine. The curry puffs with caramelized onion and sweet potato and served with a cucumber relish were fine. A bit on the sweeter end but a pretty normal version for most Thai spots. The chicken satay served with peanut sauce and the same cucumber relish as expected was a bit worse. The chicken needed to be grilled more and it was a bit bland. The deep fried marinated spare rib was easily the best of the appetizers. Nicely tender with a good amount of flavor. Not as good as some other spots I have been to but noticeably better then most and I would recommend it. My main dish was the duck noodle soup consisting of rice noodles with sliced roasted duck and bean sprouts in a Thai herbal broth. This was actually very good. Nice amount of tender duck. It was served a bit differently than other spots which usually consists of a duck leg and I almost preferred this as there were less bones. The herbal broth had a good kick to it as expected as I ordered it spicy and there was otherwise a good amount of star anise and the usual spices you find in this broth with a touch of sweetness. They also brought over some chili sauce in case I wanted to add a bit more spice. The other people had a pad Thai which looked fine and some beef basil which was also fine. The food here is fine. There are better Thai spots in the neighborhood but I would likely go back. Probably overrating at 4 stars but my main and the rather good Thai ribs, I'll bump it up but if I could give a 3.5, I would."

"I agree with other reviewers that the shares are small (only after American over-innocence though. I ordered Thia tea without ice because I don't like ice cream in my drinks (of course don't fill it all the way, and Panang Curry with chicken (i highly recommend if you never have Thai food before). Even if you like spicy foods like me, I do not recommend to increase the spice levels; too much spice can drown from the other beautiful aromas. It comes to a mild and it is perfectly spicy while compliment the other flavors. Comes with a lot of chicken (not like other places where I was, who sneaks on the meat, but I would ask for extra broth, my favorite part...YUM. My pickup job was finished in 20 minutes."

"Green Lotus is now our “go to” Thai restaurant in the Alpharetta Avalon Mall area! Great food, service, and location! My wife and I had plans to have one of our dinner and movie nights out. We swung by the Avalon Regal Theater and we could not find seats for any of the movies we were interested in. We decided to forego the movie and just have dinner at a favorite Thai restaurant local to the Avalon Mall. It was fortunate that our usual Thai restaurant in the area was closed for the Labor Day Weekend; fortunate because we found Green Lotus on Open Table! While the inside decor was new and inviting, the weather allowed us to opt for outdoor seating. We chose four appetizers, split a main dish, along with two glasses of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our food filled with fresh ingredients and our experience! We will be returning to Green Lotus on a regular basis, with or without the movie!"
