"This place is a great neighborhood standby. I am quite picky about Sushi and I trust this place both for sashimi and for more fun, Americanized special roles. I also had their non-sushi dishes, and I enjoy most of the menus. Your choice is not huge, but I think that helps them get super fresh ingredients. You have created a great system for minimal contact when picking up orders, and everything is carefully packed. It may take a while until they gather and order (especially if there is a great order), but they have always given me accurate estimates when things will be ready when I place my order."

"I like to consider myself a regular here, the staff is always so nice and so is the owner/manager. Everyone is welcoming. I usually order their boba drinks between 2-6 at a time and either I or my husband picks it up. I havent tried one I haven't liked as of yet but their butterfly lychee is always my choice as it's my favorite. Their food is really good and healthy, my kids usually get the poke my way and I've tried a variety of dishes. If you dine in its cozy and the ambience is nice. It's a small and quaint place full of flavor and friendly people. The only downside is the parking situation as you have to find parking in any nearby public parking garage however thats for all of downtown unless you're lucky and find a spot on the street. You could easily get here through the metro mover also and get off on the Bayside stop and walk there, it's a short distance."

"My first time at Sushi Galbi was great. I came to dinner service on a Thursday night and ordered the chirashi bowl, shrimp tempura hand roll, Market roll, and salmon skin hand roll. The chirashi bowl was such a great deal for the amount and variety of sashimi you get. The best bites were the bluefin toro sashimi, salmon belly sashimi, and salmon skin hand roll. Omg the salmon skin was sooooo crunchy and they gave you a lot of salmon skin. I thought the price was worth the quality of the fish.The service was also great. My party of 2 was greeted immediately and seated within a minute or so. Our server also let us move tables so we weren 't by the draft let in by the door. The servers gave great recommendations and were very nice. This place is great for friends, family, and solo diners. Thee portions are pretty big but who doesn 't love leftovers ¯ (ツ) ¯"
