UPDATED was 5 star now 2 because the food is still good: Unfortunately in recent times when my family and I go out to eat at Fretello's the service has been so horrible I doubt we will ever return. Even when not busy we have just been ignored while the waiter watched TV or flirted with the bartender. Food has always been good so I find this quite unfortunate! Plenty of other great spots around still!"

"I thought the pizza was pretty good by Brooklyn standards (my experience with kosher pizza in Brooklyn has been less positive than with pizza in other boroughs). The crust has a soft yet smoky feel, and the cheese was less bland than some other places I have been. However, its popularity has led to some service problems. I stood in line for 10 minutes behind someone with a giant order; maybe they need a second cash register for big orders or something."
