"East Coast transplant here. I've been desperately searching for a bagel place in OC that reminds me of home. East Coast Bagel, while not perfect, is better than the competing bagel shops I've tried (Shirley's, Boil and Bake).I got a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. The bagel was great! It had just the right amount of chew and the texture was on point. There was a decent amount of bacon and melty cheddar cheese. Sounds good, right? It was save for the egg which was slightly off in texture and was a bit spongey. It was giving microwaved instant eggs and it just kinda threw the whole sandwich off. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad, but why not take things up a notch by offering real eggs? I'll come back for the bagels and probably just try to assemble my own egg sandwiches at home."
