"I made a reservation because we had a party of 6 and it was a Saturday night. when we arrived, the host seemed confused when I said we had an open table reservation, but not a big thing. we sat immediately, but were short 2 menus. no care, the host promised to find us. about 5 minutes to go and a server says hello I will be with them. so we wait approx. 15-20 minutes at 7 and it was now 7:25 and not yet a drink order. So I asked the hostess whether our server has forgotten about us when we have seen 2-3 other tabs say long after us with drinks and ordering placed. the host comes to our table and answers- she gets drinks for another table, but she will be past afterwards. wow. that's it. the server comes by and says, okay, what can I get them? I'll take the whole job when they're ready. Of course we were ready, we had 2 children and waited almost half an hour at this point. we introduce our commands and wait again. we don't even get the children chocolate milk we have waited for, no water, nothing. no feeling of urgency, no manager to smooth things, nothing. it's now 7:45 and we decide to go. we knew if it took over 45 minutes to get drinks, the rest of the experience would have continued in this mode and we had children who needed to come to bed before midnight. we left when the server brought our drinks final, it was 7:50 at this place. we said we were going, everything took too long and everything she said was a sarcastic, “okay.” we gathered our things, went out the door and the hostess said, have a good night. the same hostess I was flying down half an hour ago to ask about our server. my mother-in-law said we didn't have a good night, we're going because we don't get a service. All she said was okay. the manager was never taken care of coming or checking on our table or one of the tabs in our section. it was a little busy, but there was no waiting time and many open tables. not a worker had a sense of urgency or seemed to care."
