"Enormous Menu. I dine here several times each month with co-workers. We usually opt for the special luncheon sushi menu, which is a fantastic bargain, and allows you a choice of 4 soups plus two sushi rolls for $7.50, or three rolls for $11. The fancy sushi and sashimi aren't included, but a selection of about two dozen rolls are.
However, this review is about the Chinese menu offerings. Sometimes I am just in a mood for soup, or soup and an egg roll. Dragon Cafe offers several family size/main course soups for about $6-7. They are both tasty and filling. It would also be easy to split one of the family size soups between three or four diners as an appetizer.
My coworkers each strayed from the sushi items we typically select and opted to try something new to them from the three page Chinese portion of the menu. One chose the sesame shrimp, which included large shrimp sautéed with vegetables and sesame seeds in a flavorful dark sauce. It must have been great because she didn't offer me any! It just disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
My other friend tried the chicken egg fu yung. The waitress brought her three huge pieces, plus a dark and tangy sauce served on the side. I did get to sample from her plate, and it was very good, especially liberally covered in the side sauce. The portion was more than enough for her, as she took half of it to go.
Dragon Cafe has such an enormous menu, and such consistent high quality output from both the kitchen and the sushi bar that I consider it to be a "destination" restaurant. And prices are very reasonable. We have also found the service to be always friendly and prompt. Daily specials are typically offered, if the 6 page menu isn't enough for you.

Now offering Japanese and Sushi. Dragon Inn has been remodeled and a large sushi and Japanese menu has been added to the Chinese menu. We sampled the wonderful luncheon sushi special...choice of 2 sushi rolls from a list of about 20, plus soup or salad for $7.50. The sushi rolls were a bit skinnier than at other restaurants, but still delicious.
The restaurant now sports a sushi bar as well as a liquor bar in the back dining room.

Quality Chinese. Decent Chinese in a friendly atmosphere. Great noodle soups. The only thing I can't stand is the nutty video and music coming from the TV on the wall in the corner of the room. It is apropos of nothing."
