"Finding good Chinese food in Miami mainland or the Beach has become quite the challenge. Where did all the great Chinese restaurants go? I am a native Miamian and it seems one by one the best Chinese run restaurants have slowly left the area . So what a pleasant surprise it was for me to find this little gem last week . My husband asked me to grab some Chinese food for his mother for a small family dinner at her house. Based on reviews and my gps recommended route to my mother in law’s house I chose this restaurant. I called in my order and picked it up. I was surprised at how expensive the final bill was but : we are in post covid , this IS Miami Beach, I’ve gotten larger portions for my money but NOT the quality of this food. Upon entering , the place is small but very cute and clean inside. I realized once i got there that I have passed this restaurant a 1000 times and never noticed it. My order consisted of egg drop soup, egg rolls, special fried rice, pork lo mein, and egg foo young( which wasn’t on the printed menu but the woman who took the phone order said they make it . The food was VERY fresh and tasty! Everybody in the family raved about how delicious it was. My picky mother in law who eats like a bird had two servings of the soup and ate some of everything. She even asked where did we find such tasty Chinese food . My favorite Chinese dish is egg foo young and, personally I thought this restaurant prepared the best and freshest I EVER had. And this place still serves homemade Chinese mustard !!! The last time I’ve seen that in Miami was ages ago. We have added this restaurant to the neighborhood favorites we will surely order from in the near future. I finally have found a good local Chinese restaurant again."
