"The food is truly exceptional the location in a wonderfully eclectic neighborhood. The service was ok timing of entrees not great (one lagged a good 10 minutes behind the others) suggestion that we eat a shared salad with our hands so as to reach the avocado on the bottom was a bit tone deaf in the midst of the current virus scare but should not deter anyone from enjoying this little gem of a restaurant."

"I visited this restaurant for a tea brunch to celebrate my friend's birthday. The atmosphere was beautiful and cozy. The small bites and pastries were almost too pretty to eat! While the savory options were tasty and creative, there were not enough of them. About 80% of the items were sweets of some sort, I wish there was a more even split between sweets and savory. The service was a bit slow, but the staff was very friendly. Overall, it was a great place to take pretty pictures for a special occasion."

"I remember my first time as if it were yesterday! The most relaxed and as I have to say, simple but fine food. I recommend Linear. The atmosphere was great and perfectly balanced. The music choice is unique compared to most restaurants in the Grand Rapids district. Although not too high-beat/loud and not too quiet. Personally, Brussels sprouts are my favorite shorts d'oeuvres from a landslide! Each bite was the perfect crunch, paired with a warmth at Elfenglasur. The main actor was the Wagyu Flank Steak and the perfect bite exists. Finally, up the night, the S'mores Trifle! Thanks Ashley for excellent service and friendly hospitality!"

"I have really enjoyed London Plane in the past and hope this was just a one-off bad experience. The hostess was warm and prompt but we barely saw our server and nearly had to beg her to take our drink order. She definitely mastered the art of not making eye contact! After we received our food, we didn’t see her again until the check was presented. The baked eggs were quite good but the pork was terrible; super dry and overcooked. Our server did not make any inquiry on the food or drinks and missed the opportunity to fix the experience."

"Friends from St. Louis had flown in and wanted to watch a Cardinal game at 40Love. Management was very accommodating and changed the channel on 4 TVs, so we could have the surround experience. Sophia, our server, could not have been nicer. She was very helpful with drink and food suggestions and she never steered us wrong. The cheeseburgers were amazing! She also suggested a pineapple rum drink that was very refreshing. When I said that I wanted a hot dog, she even suggested pairing it with a local brewery’s pineapple and apricot beer. 4 women thoroughly enjoyed this “sports bar”."
