"Ramuntos is by far the best pizza north of CT and west of Boston/495 corridor. It is almost neapolitan in nature, and it is ovens are actually hot enough to give you a crisp, glitter-cooked pizza without exaggerating it. Of course, there are tons of other things on the menu, all regular pub fees that match the bill, but if you are in the CT River Valley, this is the place for pizza, time. The next place to find the pizza of this calibre is Santarpios in East Boston, MA or down to New Haven, CT for one of the different Apizza joints there (Pepe's, Modern, Bar, Sally's). There are some pizzas in the north of Boston that can compete, but it is mainly bakery pizza a while different beast quite, but you feel like you in Rapallo or Genoa, Italy. There are several places where I only go to Claremont, as I find it most consistent in prep, taste and proximity to something south. Excellent work is nice to know that I can get a good cake here without traveling to CT."
