"Be aware that the menu on the website doesn 't match what they 're serving. We went on a Friday specifically because their website said the Friday buffet was breakfast foods. Who doesn 't like breakfast-for-lunch? But when we got there, no breakfast. The server told us the menu changes every week. The website apparently doesn 't get updated that often, however. Instead of breakfast , we had grilled cheese and tomato soup, which was very good on a cold day, along with an order of fries. We also shared a dessert (bananas Foster, pretty good). We had trouble getting a server to notice us when we first were seated, but once they saw us, they were reasonably attentive. The place was completely full, mostly with students. The reason I went to Ibby 's in the first place was to use a $50 gift card that I won in a drawing. Imagine my surprise when the gift card wasn 't accepted. The server came back and said, Maybe it 's expired? I don 't know, it said something about [error message]. Everybody back there working is new, so they don 't know anything about it. I guess you could call someone? Or I could find someone and ask them about it? First of all: Gift cards that expire? What is this, 2004? And second: Yes. You find someone and ask about it. Don 't come back to me and expect me to deal with it. How is there not a manager on duty that you can go to to solve this problem? I paid with my debit card, because my friend and I were already late returning to work. I don 't plan to go back to Ibby 's."
