Also we don't get to Allentown enough, so it all worked out.Walking into Shelly's it seemed like a small place, and half of it was empty. Like physically not that there weren't customers but there weren't tables! There's just a 20 foot entry area where maybe tables would go? Possibly a Covid thing?At any rate, don't let it fool you, just keep waking until you hit the seating area. You'll want to, because it's a great breakfast spot.Had some pancakes, both the blueberry as well as the peanut butter and chocolate chip. Also got a side of eggs and bacon (my breakfast joint litmus test) and everything was terrific.The blueberries were sweet and tart and really complimented the pancakes.The peanut butter and chocolate chip pancakes were exactly what an 11 year old me would dream about. It was like Resses' Pancakes. Awesome.Good coffee, nice crisp bacon and they know how to make scrambled eggs. Totally going again."
