"Hendricks Tavern is a hidden gem located in the heart of Roslyn. The service, from the valet attendants to the wait staff, was excellent and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The ambiance is warm, laid back, and relaxing. My wife had been wanting to try Hendricks Tavern for a while, so we decided to celebrate her birthday there. We made a reservation for outdoor seating and were accommodated without any issues. The food was superb! We enjoyed zucchini and eggplant chips, fried calamari, and a pizza as appetizers, all of which were delicious. For our main courses, we had Tavern BBQ Ribs and a 30oz Tomahawk Rib Eye steak, which we shared. The sides of creamed spinach, sautéed mushrooms, and hash browns were tasty, although the hash browns were a bit crunchy. Our desserts, carrot cake and homemade apple crisp, were also fantastic. The wait staff even sang happy birthday to my wife when they brought out her dessert, which was a nice touch. Overall, we had a great dining experience with delicious food, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Thank you to everyone at Hendricks Tavern for making my wife's birthday dinner special and memorable."

"Probably wouldn’t come back. Had high expectations given the option to dine at a chefs table. Some of the food was unique and quite good. But my daughter’s filet looked and tasted like something I’d expect to get at Applebees and the desserts were disgusting. The banana bread skillet tasted like uncooked flour. The olive oil cake was drier than the Turkey at Clark Griswald’s house. They have 30 whiskey’s to choose from, but don’t ask for a list or an explanation of what they have because they really don’t know. All in all I should have done more research before going. Had I known it was just the restaurant inside a Marriott property, I would have passed. A few stand outs, but overall just over priced and there are far superior restaurant in the area at similar price points."

"I took a friend there for her birthday and we got superb service from Shelby! She made sure it felt special and checked on everything we could possibly need. A true rockstar! "I had a disappointing experience at Mitchell's, with a long wait and a refund on my food. However, I decided to try the fish and chips at the restaurant across the street. "Cozy and vibrant wine bar. Definitely great for a second date or spot to have a drink and kill some time.The host and staff were super nice and flexible even though we told them we were just killing our time before our parking ended and it was cold outside.We had a long list of wines to go through and got cozied up and drank. We had to ask to order a drink and ask for some bread. I think the server might have stopped by the table once during the meal. "Waiter was rude from the every beginning . We had a 945 reservation . We showed up at 945. We we’re seated and I stayed at the table while the rest of my party went to wash their hands . The waiter came to the table and told me the kitchen was closing and I should order our food and drinks for the people washing their hands . I was appalled . I said I would like to wait for them to wash their hands and look at the menu and the waiter gave me a huge attitude . Then he proceeded to rush us through our meal literally telling us to hurry up and bringing the food out almost all together . As we were leaving he told us to be becareful because Lexington was a scary place after a certain time. It was before 1045 pm because he had rushed us through a meal in less then an hour. It made no sense and none of us could understood what he meant by this comment . We were in town for business and this restaurant was highly recommended by a friend . We had planned to eat at this restaurant at least 2 more times in the week were visiting . I will never eat at this restaurant again. Totally unprofessional and miserable experience ."

"I visited this diner for the first time today and I don't know why it took me so long to check this place out. I got treated so warmly when I walked in like I was a regular customer that frequently dined here. The service I got from the waitstaff was great and the food was good. You seem to get a lot for your monies worth and in my opinion I think the prices are reasonable. The place overall is immaculately clean, but the bathroom seems a tad small. A major plus is that they have a nice sized parking lot so you don't have to look around for street parking. I will definitely be back the next time I am in the area."

"for the best wobble soup they come here. the restaurant is beautifully designed and eating is always better. the duck with acidic crunches was amazing as the earthy. the service is excellent. sitting is exceptionally comfortable. my mother can't eat whole things, so I usually share with her. I then asked to share the duck breast in the kitchen they did beautifully. the restaurant operates and serves as a traditional French bistro. that means they are open to breakfast lunch and dinner. they also have a wonderful bakery if they want only coffee and a delicious bake or gelato."
