"Today is 5/23/23. My wife stopped Tender Greens at 7:50 pm for take out and there is no 1 in line, restaurant has 3 different tables who are already eating their food, and 3 take outs already made sitting on the shelf for pick up. My wife ordered 2 grilled salmon plates and it took 30 minutes for her to get the food. Are these special magic salmon that takes over 12 minutes to grill? Salmon takes 12 minutes to grill. After 15 minutes, my wife asks for an update, to which they said it's being prepared. 10 minutes later she asks again and again they say it's being prepared. The place is dead and no 1 else has come in after her to order food. There isn't an apology for the long f'ing wait. Just a here's your food. Talk about crappy a service. Tender Greens management, you guys need to re-train your staff because my little kids have better manners."

"Friendly staff, quick service — went around 1:30pm on Tuesday and the place was practically empty, but they were busy preparing online orders. They have some seasonal items as well so might check those out next time. A lot of good healthy choices, and the restaurant was very clean and well-maintained. I'd say it's a pretty nice spot for lunch with friends, even to sit and work for a bit!"

"I made a point of calling to be sure of their business hours and waking up (truck driver) in time to get my dinner to go.I arrived at 8:45p on 11/4(Thursday) to be told they didn't have any more dumplings. I commented, Must be good, you sold out But NO. The young woman at the counter informed me We already threw the water out and wouldn't be making any more. I replied that since it was 15 minutes before closing time, that was not appropriate. She didn't seem to be concerned.The food I did order came quickly. When I said Thank you she replied, No problem "No problem? Since when is that an acceptable alternative to your welcome?I haven't eaten my dinner yet, so we'll see if what I got tastes as good as it sounded."

"On 6 July at 18:08 p.m. ordered bowl and added avocado; it had black parts on it I took a picture I certainly did the person if I did another order today, please do not set up one that black. She told the other girl with a ponytail and curly hair and she made a face sarcastic and I will tell her that the chef did not go to eat black avocado. So the girl that prepared the food, I showed her the photos on my phone and she said to my surprise: there is nothing I can do that 's how we sell it. I did not appreciate this answer, and I spoke to the cook and he had the right attitude that suggests that the girl was in error of her attitude, and he's sorry that we got the black avocado on the last order. People should not be fired, they should be withdrawn; but more importantly, the people who need to be hired, the right attitude and food service is not to have a simple work with people. But you need to be polite and hear the complaint when it is one with the right attitude"

"I rated the ambiance start. I need to clarify. Because of Coved virus in California we had to eat outside. It was a cool night. The restaurant had outdoor heaters to take care of the cool night. We ordered salmon and breaded shrimp. The salmon was very good and the shrimp was excellent"

"My amorcita, Emma and I were out and about in the South Bay running errands and found ourselves in Torrance. We also found ourselves getting hungry for dinner, so we decided to find something in the area. We had been to the Tender Greens restaurant at 21247 Hawthorne Blvd location several years back and were impressed with the food enough to make a return visit. It was a great decision!! My Amorcita ordered the Fried Chicken Plate with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables and I ordered the Grilled Shrimp Plate with Baby Arugula Salad and mixed rice. My Amorcita also wanted to try the chicken pozole soup. We were both so pleased with our food choices! Both our plates were well presented and a flavourful nirvana!? I must personally thank Lacey our chef and meal preparation extraordinaire for her excellent skill at creating such a great dinner for us. Also, our attendant and server, Isac was such a joyful and attentive young man. Isac was always there to ensure our drink glasses were full and our every need accounted for. My one, and only complaint is the time it took for our dinner meal to make its way to our table. Almost a full 45 minutes elapsed from the time we ordered, to the dinner meals arrival at our table. We elected to dine in, and the restaurant was only about 10% capacity, so it seemed the emphasis was on the to go and call in orders than for the patrons at the restaurant. Just a minor suggestion for improvement to not neglect those restaurant patrons? Overall, an excellent dining experience, highlighted by the excellent food and excellent service from Lacey and Isac.
