"We like this venue. It was nice as Avalon and OK as Spence312. This rendition seems to be a bit bigger on interior design, mostly working with what was left behind. Very pleasant server. Knows how to smile. Nothing like a grump to get things off on the wrong foot. She did misunderstand my attempt to get an appetizer as a second course, instead bringing a huge portion. My fault...likely. The romaine and kale salad seemed very short on kale, but was quite good, nevertheless. Kale has become so chic that they must have it delivered by armored car. The littleneck clams were tasty and shared a bowl with about 1 pound of butter. I asked for an extra roll, but do not try to sweep up all of those tasty juices unless you have a reservation at the cardiac cath lab and an ambulance waiting on High Street. The swordfish was fresh, fine quality and well prepared. The flourless chocolate tart was very nicely presented dense and satisfying. A great desert to share. Go, you will surely find something to make you smile."
