"We attended the Valentine's Day dinner at the restaurant, which offered only three fixed menus—vegetarian, seafood, and a regular meat and seafood option—each consisting of five courses. There was also an optional wine pairing available. Given that this was a set menu event with extended reservations, one would expect the restaurant to be well-prepared in terms of the number of plates, glasses, utensils, and servers needed for the evening. Unfortunately, there was some mishap that left the entire restaurant waiting far too long for the next dish to be served. Even after a manager apologized for the slow service, we still had to wait a considerable amount of time for our main course, and our server forgot to bring us the next wine pairing. While the food and wine were enjoyable and the additional $30 for the wine pairing was reasonable for couples, the breakdown in service ultimately marred the occasion."
