"Formosa is one of those places where you would go for inexpensive Chinese food and/or sushi, although I’ve never had the sushi. The wait staff is consistently accommodating and professional, but don’t expect the warmth and welcome of an establishment that charges more. Compliments go to the food, which is also consistent. Always hot and tasty, especially if you like the various sauces on the heavy side (I do). I just can’t give Formosa 5 stars. Despite the adequate service and good food, the place always seems a little dingy. The carpet definitely needs replacement. Overall, a decent place to visit if not wanting to spend more than about $15 per person."
