"My first restaurant visit in Flushing. I went to eat around 4pm. I was very hungry, which could be slightly biased in terms of how I felt about food, but the foods are good! The coconut soup base is refreshing and sweet with two fresh coconut juice. The chicken is flavorful and juicy. Don't let it cook too long in the pot, especially the Chicken breast. When the timer is done (see timer in my photo), make sure to scoop all the meaty chicken chunks out. One thing to mention is all chicken pieces are with chopped bones in them. Be careful when you chew! The smooth beef chunks are also tender, just cook them until no pink. But not too long after that. Napa cabbage, all kinds of mushrooms, water crest, and rice wide noodle are definitely worth a try. They all absorbs the nice sweet coconut juice flavors. The dipping ginger+green onion sauce is very flavorful to go with chicken. Overall this is a hotpot without super salty soup base. For a person that has light taste and avoids salty restaurant food, this is great! I did use couple drips of soy sauce with a spoonful of soup base in my bowl to add little more saltiness to foods. After the hotpot, make sure to drink some coconut chicken soup. So yummy!"
