"Got the chicken fried rice it was yellow with pieces of brown chicken meat in it no vegetables nasty didn’t even look cooked.. got the bourbon chicken because somebody wrote up a good review about it it was brown chicken meat and soupy sauce could not eat it because the chicken look nasty.. "Ordered takeout via phone. The place looked closed because there were no cars in front of the restaurant. Inside, there was one couple eating. Food was done quickly. Fried wontons were very overly cooked. They were almost burnt and clumped together. I did let them know, and they gave me a fresh order and gave me two free egg rolls that were dark brown and almost burnt. The General Tso's chicken was a weird brown color and had a water sauce that didn't have spice. I just couldn't eat it because, like the pork in the fried wontons, the meat had an off taste. The sauces for the egg rolls and the wontons were also too watery. It was my first and last time I would order here."

"Looks the same as before they changed management.The restaurant extends next door so there is extra seating.No more shrimp tempura on the buffet anymore.Most of the standards are still back and just as good.No more salad bar (I’m assuming due to cost and usage).They were able to accommodate at reservation of 17 for us which was really nice.Even though we came in after 8 on a weekend they kept pumping out the fried goodies (kids loved the fried cheese egg roll items) and the pad Thai was tasty.Wife liked the spicy potato a lot and I liked all 3 curries. The spicy fried rice is “spicy”."

"Red Palace is my favorite Chinese restaurant. I will drive all the way to Roanoke (45m) any time. The food is always fresh and delicious. Food is put out in reasonable time. If you need a special item just let the staff know. I've never gotten sick from the Red Palace. I absolutely love all the staff. The servers work really hard and it shows. My table is always clean upon sitting, drinks refilled without asking, plenty of napkins, plates and trash cleared and lots of smiles. I recommend Red Palace!! Please leave a tip!!"

"The food was great! I especially liked the honey walnut crispy chicken and shrimp! It was like getting 2 different meals in one [white creamy mayo shrimp AND brown sauce chicken] and both were delicious! I enjoyed the fried crab and cheese wonton [Crab Rangoon] as well.
