"After a 4-hour whale watching tour, Fat Man Reviews needed a snack. So we went from the port of Boston and thought for a drink and a filling in Trade. Trade offers innovative cocktails with Mediterranean dishes served in a vibrant, modern, high-boiling atmosphere. I chose an early afternoon cocktail and ordered a wait for the sun. This was served with Hendricks Gin, apricots, honey, rose and citrus. Gin and honey first come through in a sweet and floral taste. The apricot follows the citrus I thought was lemon. This drink was quite refreshing and had a good amount of alcohol in it. We ordered the Anatolian Flatbread. This was covered with spinach, rag, Kasari cheese and dill. The flatbread was quite soggy in the middle. The spinach and leaks stood out and offered a beautiful sweet and onion-type taste. The cheese is tasteful, almost like a mozzarella, but more buttery, and it was melted well. The dill gives both taste and fragrance a beautiful pop. However, the dish was quite oily and left a strange texture in my mouth. The trade offers lunch and dinner with bread, salads, sandwiches, appetizers and main dishes. They have a full bar and offer a large wine card. The server was nice enough, but the mood of the staff was not as inviting as we hoped. The Fat Man says that trade NOT approves Fat Man."
