"if I can't give this place a star, I would. the owners were absolutely rude. When I was here for the first time, I fell in love with the atmosphere and the owners. very friendly and understanding. the second round I came and brought friends to introduce them to this place. the owners were not accommodating and when my guests were not happy with their teller and asked to swallow it with another, we got posture and said that we would be charged for the new teller, even if they had one bit and did not like it. they had a gitarist there when we arrived and sat, they informed us that they were here and so they can pay with tips. we used the laundry mat next door and when we had gone after the payment of the owner, we followed into the laundry mat and slam the change that we left as a tip on the washing machine and continued to scream and say he does not want our tip as he had to remove the court. I work in the community and I know many people who feed here. When I told them this story, they already knew about the attitude of the owners. I usually write nothing negative, but I can't tolerate that owners are completely rude for their customers new or old. eating is not worth the maintenance and negative attitude of the owners. not worth the stress."

We asked twice (practically begged) if there was any way we could be moved further into the dining room and were refused in a rather brusk fashion. We ate our dinner, which was quite expensive, but could not really enjoy it because we all were cold and the guest of honor was freezing. I could not understand such poor guest relations. I had had the reservation for two weeks so it was not that they had just fit us in. I was really rather shocked and have not been back."

"we go to the north shore lagoon and on, since she opened, it made our intimate new years dinner party, and the mcmenamins coworkers made it fantastic. first, eating was the best we ever had here. we started with the Shishito peppers; cooked perfectly and very tasty, then the Thai dyed tacos; three magnificent tacos beautifully filled with kailua pork and sweet; generous portions and delicious. then we had the jamaika curry bowl w/shrimp; it was fantastic. so delicious, perfectly cooked. the staff was busy but attentive and made it a wonderful evening. oh yes, also drinks were creatiw and tasty. thanks to those who work on nye, they have made extra good!"

"This review is for people who are looking for venues to hold special events. Although Anthony's seems like a nice place for a casual outing my experience holding a private event felt more like a mugging. The food was good and the service was good, but I am convinced that the owner manipulated the private dining prices to take advantage of my relatively high budget for dinners. Because of my party size and the fact that the owner did not mention a prefixe menu, I planned on allowing my guests to order a la carte. We were told to choose entrées that were not on the menu and without any written price. I asked the server twice throughout the evening if I was near my budget and twice she reassured me that I was nowhere even close. Then at the end of the evening the owner disappears for almost 20 minutes to calculate the bill that conveniently pushed close to my per person maximum. He also did not tell me beforehand that there would be a charge if my party was less than 10 (I had 4 people not show up out of 10) and a $65 charge for the screen. I have held private dinners at many restaurants and never in my career have I run up a bill for $1000 for 6 people even with a room charge and screen rental. If you plan on doing an event at Anthony's, make sure you have a contract in writing and the prefixe menu upfront with the prices. The owner seemed more interested in making a quick buck rather than for any repeat business. So simply put, I will plan on taking my events elsewhere, I urge you to do the same."

"Our waiter was pleasant at first, but he seemed to forget about us after a while. Perhaps he had too many tables to handle; we noticed him bustling around to assist other guests while we were left waiting for an extended period to place our order. When we finally did, we requested that the bread be brought out first, but it took 25 minutes to arrive, and it all came at once—not in courses as we would have expected. As a result, our main dishes and sides were cold by the time we finished the salad. After a long wait, we finally saw our waiter again and asked to see the dessert menu, and my partner ordered an instant cup of coffee. Fifteen minutes later, we expressed our frustration at the lack of service, which was overheard by a busboy who acknowledged our dissatisfaction. Eventually, our waiter returned to provide us with decent service, though not without an eye-roll. Unfortunately, this is no longer the restaurant it once was."

"last night we celebrated our dear friends 60th birthday and sams really made the night an unforgettable experience. the service was amazing, friendly and very attentive that we really appreciated. eating was delicious with taking the brussel sprouts with bacon. which were very soft instead of crispy, as indicated in the appetizer description on the menu. I ordered the 1/2 chicken, which was extremely moist and tender, the taste was amazing about risotto. my wife had mandarin pear salad that she absolutely loved and our friend had the shrimp thing with blue crab that he said was incredibly amazing. for dessert, my wife and I shared a homemade vanilla and chocolate swirl soft serve ice cream and our friend had for his birthday dessert her key lime pie. we had a beautiful window seat and the sunset was truly spectacular. sams chowder house made our birthday party a beautiful holiday experience for the three of us and we look forward to our next time we visit sams, which is a wonderful and appreciated facility for not only us native, but for all who are past and enjoy their delicious food and hospitality."

"that made me very sad: my father took me here when I was a child in the 70s, and I remember that it was a wonderful family restaurant with fantastic eating. Unfortunately, my wife and I brought our children here last Sunday and it is no longer the same place. the restaurant was about 1/3 full, we were not visited by our waiter for more than 15 minutes and came only after I informed our hostess that we had not yet been seen, our boy came to the table at room temperature, as it might have been omitted) two tables, which were after the exact same size party received their food before we did it, drinks were not asked after filled. all the time, two waiters served a table of 7 near us, telling sweat, sitting on an edge to chat and several times back to fill and remove boards. very frustrating. eating was good, but not enough to overcome the failings of the service. on the way out we ran into a couple who had gone because they had 25 minutes to space and had not seen their server yet. when the restaurant reads this: from a long-term fan of spengers I sincerely hope that they will address the care of their former giggles! we would all be happy to see you, but we need a reason! your service must be addressed immediately. Thank you."

"It was a quiet night in the restaurant (February) so noise level was low. They offer a 32 ounce (2lb) ribeye steak with veggies and twice baked potato. I asked the waiter if that was a miss-print. He said No. and it was delicious...my wife and I shared it. Monster Maui onion rings also excellent. The lights inside the restaurant were quite bright so views were not an attraction at night...but then Santa Barbara by night isn 't the Las Vegas Strip. We recommend this restaaurant."

"my husband surprises me and made reservations here for us on Valentine's Day. it was so delicious. this is one of our new favorite spots and if they are in the opposite, try after a new restaurant, I hope they are over. starting with our appetizer, we ordered the traditional trio. calamari, cajun popcorn shrimp and crab cakes. everything tasted so amazing and fresh. I was very surprised! before this night were my man and I were not a big fan of crab cakes, but now we are. the cajun popcorn shrimp was spiced to perfection and to calamari. Next are our entries! my husband ordered the steak and lobster- 6 ounces. petite filet medium rare and 6 ounces. lobster tail, garlauch kartoffeln, sweet marchand d’Vin drawn butter. he loved every bit! no complaining anything. I ordered the atlantic salmon, grilled with spinach and garlic carrots. the sauce in which the laugh was was very good. the spinach was fresh as well as the carrots. everything was literally amazing. next and finally. is even better than to tremble on the cake. dessert! omg, let me begin with that it was absolutely amazing. did they not know that eating delicious food can give them an orgasm? eat them at scott's and get them their today! I ordered the white chocolate cheesecake. I enjoyed every crazy bite! I really had no place after my evening, but I couldn't even waste a bite. my husband ordered the brotpudding bananas foster, which is made with dreyers vanilla ice cream, sauce and golden raisins. it had no low points. everything was made perfect and we went to home extremely full. I enjoyed myself here in the scott’s restaurant as a whole. a very friendly gentleman played the piano for most of our time there and hear his music brought us memories of the piano sound effects on our favorite cartoon childhood, tom jerry. Some nights are jazz club nights and I will definitely eat again in the near future here. if you are here, visit the bay area and want to visit a restaurant on a place that is not too crowded and packed, visit them scott 's seafood restaurant in walnut creek, ca. the food and desserts are spectacular and I recommend them 100%They also have jazz brunch on Sunday 's! watch it!"
