"Great service and care add to the exceptional ambiance at Balthazar in SoHo, New York. Regal spot for brunch but be sure to reserve ahead of time as this restaurant fills up rapidly especially with the exorbitant foot traffic around the area. Solo diners get a complementary champagne on the house which was a nice touch and a great surprise. The bread basket was great, and the coffee exceptional as long as it is delivered hot (one of my top ups was not). The Benedict’s are exceptional with the English muffin and the Canadian bacon being very fresh. The home fries were also made from scratch and so I would recommend those as your side. A great experience for exceptional ambiance and food at this Michelin star restaurant. Sitting in the street booth and sipping champagne, I felt like a celebrity to onlookers!"

"This place was like finding gold at 3am after a concert at The Garden followed by socializing until most everywhere was closed for the night. We were pleased to find a bounty of options ranging from healthy to junky, fresh to processed, hot and cold, breakfast lunch and dinner juices and smoothies. Something for everyone! They have hot and cold bars during the day that are closed late night, for obvious reasons, but we still had more than enough options. We have returned repeatedly and all of the employees have been super nice and down to earth with a family vibe. Everything seems clean in the food areas and everything has been tasty plus fairly priced for the city. We’ve told all of our friends who are up for shows at the Garden regularly, usually staying at the Stewart hotel, and are known to get hungry late night. Very pleased to have found this place!"

"Jerry's is a fantastic neighborhood bar and café located in Northern Liberties. The food is amazing, the service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is laid-back and inviting. We decided to visit for Easter Sunday brunch and had a lovely experience. In addition to the tasty food, they offer a variety of brunch drinks. My wife enjoyed a mimosa made with Prosecco, while I savored a rich and flavorful espresso martini. A special bonus was the live jazz music performed by a bass guitar duo, which added to the already enjoyable morning."

"We get there for Thanksgiving dinner with high-quality restaurant expectations. My wife chose the Thanksgiving menu with carrot ginger soup, turkey apple cake and I chose Arancini, rib and pumpkin cake. We chose 3 bottles of wine, but none of them was available, and this wine decision process lasted almost 30 minutes. After all, we get 2 glasses of wine and we could drink with our last bites of our appetizers. Then came after a little waiting main courses and we both got the turkey. I said I asked for rib. They went back, I waited again and they brought the rib. That was the process. Portions were humiliated, that's what you expect on a Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey, the Brussels sprouts and the cunning potatoes were much too salty, but the overall food was good. The desserts were super delicious. I would have expected a better service at this price. Recommended, but ask your server for less salt!!!"

"This coffee shop is a lovely spot with a greater selection of vegan options than most cafes. While it is considered a restaurant, the vegan choices are somewhat limited compared to what you would expect from a place listed on HappyCow. I tried a almond milk latte and a vegan avocado toast, both of which were delicious."

"I tried this place once and was charged $27 plus change for a gyro with stale old pita, a small portion of fries, and a children's chicken finger appetizer. I didn't receive a drink either. When I asked the waitress why it was so expensive, she explained the pricing to me, but I was still disappointed. I would recommend sticking to Johnny's Gyros or El Jefes for better options. Lehigh Pizza also offers a great alternative."

"I had the pappardelle with with braised short rib and rosemary whipped ricotta and my fiance had the pappardelle with duck ragout. Both dishes were incredibly delicious and served at the perfect temperature. Service was impeccable as well. I was also living for the flake salt that was brought with the bread and butter."

"We called from the local ice rink because we didn't want to overwhelm a diner on Sunday morning and had to wait an hour. We were told we were coming. When we arrived, we were accompanied to some kind of private space on the back (there were over 25 of us). The waitress informed us that we could not share the controls, all 25 of us sitting at three tables would have to be on a check. She also informed two parents who came in and sat at a table that they could not sit at the table where they had to sit where the other adults were. She seemed very upset that we were such a big group. We asked her about the control situation. She said we couldn't share the controls. We're a hockey team. We always share the checks and order under the player's jersey number. ALWAYS. Every restaurant we ate as a team. It's not complicated. And it's a diner coming from an ICE RINK. Whatever. She gets irritated and then tells us rudely that we don't share the check, her boss won't let her. While we thought how to pay for it as a cheque, their demeanor and attitude was just rude, and finally, we assembled the guys and went. All of us. On the way to the parking lot, some of the staff said they never said they could not share the controls. A waitress told us in the parking lot that they were suffering for inconvenience, and that if we came back, they and the rest of the staff would serve us, and that the division of controls was not a problem. But the damage was done. We went to the street for 6 minutes."

"Been here a couple of times and have had less and less engaging food and atmosphere. Great for the south suburbs to have something different but overall not the same quality as a Chicago restaurant offering similar dishes. Brussels sprouts fantastic. Lobster bisque shooters too blended; no actual chunky anything, Scallops were good. Lobster Mac and cheese felt like a can dumped rather than fresh. A good place we’ve been to ~5 times but leaving less impressed each time as some dishes fall down in my wife and I’s opinion for what it’s worth."

"This place is so cool and unique. I had some flavors and textures that I have never tasted! Isak was our waiter and he was so sweet and friendly and we really enjoyed how personal he was. Everything is presented so beautifully. That was a really cool experience."

"Danish left little to be desired, cherry cheese had next to no cherry on it, and both mine and my wife's were stale. Danish were overpriced for the quality. Wife tried calling to complain, as we got them on our way out of town, but the voice mailbox was full."
