"Sometimes you can tell the food us going to be good just by the energy the staff is putting out. The kitchen is visible. They take making food seriously. I have never had anything bad from here. The Kill Bill and Millenial Rolls were amazing!"

"Good as usual, servers Oriental outfit are polite, this is one of my favorite vietnamese restaurants to go, environment is clean and cozy. Grilled Pork vermicelli is my favorite but Pho's are excellent too, at the end they give you yummi creme brulee in a spoon as courtesy but you can order one full order, it's pretty good, they banana desert was not as good as before but it's ok, my personal favorite desert the Sticky Rice with Mango. Highly recommended, if you are around Katy don't miss the opportunity to try it."

"The reason i gave a one-star rating was due to all the sneezing, hacking while laughing, and excessive coughing i heard coming from the kitchen. You can hear the difference between someone who covers a sneeze as opposed to someone sneezing into the open air. It made it impossible to enjoy the food. I regret not canceling my order altogether, but i was on a date and didn't want to seem rude. I brought the sneezing and coughing to the attention of the server and asked if they wear masks in the kitchen. He said no, but they covered their mouths. He walked into the kitchen and said something, and then it got very silent. As we were leaving, the cook came out to the dining area and started picking his nose while looking at us. I will definitely be bringing this to the attention of the health department."

"This is a fantastic Thai restaurant located in a great corner (Los Robles Ave and Orange Grove Blvd). I discovered it by happenstance and definitely will be back. I ordered takeout and my order was ready in less than 10 minutes. The Pad Woon Sen (Thai Glass Noodles Stir fried) was definitely the star of the show. Despite being a low calorie food, it was delicious and filled me up. The Pad See Ew, as with every other place I've been to, was amazing. Nothing new here. The Rock Shrimp is a delicious, deep fried shrimp with a side sauce whose formula must be preserved for future generations. It is THAT good. The Sticky Rice was delicious. I always get mine without the mango side but I'm sure even with the mango, it would be amazing. 10/10. Would recommend."

"As a younger man I used to go here with my kids when there were not as many Thai places in the area. As Yoong Tong it had good solid food. I love Thai food and try and have it every time I travel to Silicon Valley for work as it is generally outstanding out there (as is much Asian food). I was excited to try this new version of this place, now apparently owned by the kids of the original owners and sporting a fancy new French inspired name. In a word, it was just okay... and pricey. The entrees we had were fine and properly prepared and fairly good portions but at $25 each plate it was expensive. The Tom Kha (I had the one with tofu) was very disappointing and very plain and bland. I judge every Thai place by its Tom Kha Gai, the single best flavor of soup I have had in my life. I love TKG. I adore it. I will have it at EVERY Thai meal I go to if it's on the menu (and it usually is). I will even give this place a second shot and order it again here as perhaps they screwed my bowl up. The soup tasted as if all they did was open a can of coconut milk and heat it up with a few mushrooms and with some tofu. There did not appear to be a single spice or herb or flavor of any kind in the soup. My advice to the new owners is to go back to Mom's recipe. She had a nice TKG."

"We chose to eat outside because of COVID-19. Unfortunately, it's a poor experience. The restaurant is on a busy street, there is trash on the sidewalk, and all the tables are wobbly and/or lopsided. I ordered the orange chicken, and my partner ordered yellow curry. After quite a long time, the server eventually brought us water...in plastic cups. Then they brought plastic utensils and the curry in a plastic container. My food was on a plate, so I don't understand why they gave us all the plastic. My meal included vegetables, which turned out to be two raw baby carrots and a few pieces of cold broccoli even though it was cooked. The actual orange chicken was good, but something you could buy at an Asian grocery store. My partner really enjoyed his curry, though."

"really in the mood for drunk noodles and did not want to drive to my usual place in benicia. this place had drunk noodles with duck that I replaced by huh. what I got was dry chow mien noodles with paprika and swirling, no sauce and no chin talking. I also asked the waitress if she gurkensalat and she said no she didn't, I turned the menu around and looked gurkensalat and asked if it was available it was. 2 stars because there are some good taste to glorified chow mien, but not even near drunk noodles. I also have my food to go and planned to find a nice place to enjoy, but no utensils and had to go back. overall disappointing experience."

"So on this day my dad and his girlfriend picked me up for a early dinner. The other Thai restaurant a few blocks down was closed so we decided to check out Orchids. I am pleased to announce that we made a wonderful and delicious choice. The atmosphere inside Orchids was clean and very spacious. Staff was kind and welcoming. There was only a couple of other tables with diners and we were seated in a nice cozy corner table right near the kitchen. It was past 3pm when the lunch special ends but the staff was kind enough to let us choose from the lunch menu nonetheless. We began with some refreshing ice cold water as we went through the menu to select our items. We ordered A green sesame ginger salad that was bursting with fresh delicious flavors and not overpowering at all. I even used the dressing to pour over my jasmine rice which had some hints of lemongrass and cilantro that added so nicely to the rice. We followed up with a order of the Tom Kha coconut soup with chicken. Very fresh and delicious flavors. For our main entree we ordered the hot chili green beans dish with chicken. It had lemongrass, young bell peppers bell peppers, bamboo shoots, and lemongrass. Everything went so well with each other and we had a very pleasant dining experience. The Thai Ice Tea was also on point. Orchids Thai restaurant is definitely a place i will be dining at again with friends family and even a date. Thank you Orchids for a wonderful and pleasant authentic Thai dining experience. See you soon. Next time ill try the curries, bbq, and noodle dishes."

"Decided to be adventurous and try out a new place and we were not disappointed! This place is as cute and they can make as 90% of their menu gluten-free, which is almost unknown in Thai restaurants. The Papaya salad, drunk noodles and yellow curry were absolutely delicious and the ambience with the sunroom is amazing. The staff was also amazing and the restroom was perfectly clean and felt like one you would find at home. Would definitely recommend this place and we cannot wait to go back! And they have TONS of the parking lot!"

"My wife tries to avoid meat whenever she can. She recommended this place that I’ve tried to not look at the past 352763273672 times I’ve driven passed it. I reluctantly agreed, assuming in my head I was going to be disappointed. I WAS WRONG. SO WRONG. The service was prompt and pleasant. The windows made the restaurant really bright, but still a cozy dining experience. I had the Thai Basil with soy Chicken protein (and fries because…. Well… they looked and smelled delicious). My wife got one of the curry plates with soy chicken as well. It was delicious. It’s sparked a curiosity in me. DEFINITELY coming back and recommend everyone looking into this place to come down and give it a shot."

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pearl Thai Eatery and I have to say, it's a truly delightful spot. The atmosphere is quaint and charming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. I decided to keep it simple and ordered the spicy fried rice, which was exactly what I was craving. It hit the spot perfectly! I've also tried the red curry in the past and it was absolutely delicious, with just the right amount of spice.I have a nut allergy, so I always appreciate when restaurants take the time to accommodate my needs. The waiter was incredibly attentive and made sure my dish was completely nut free. It's these small gestures that really make a difference. The dining area may be small, but it's still very nice and adds to the cozy atmosphere. The restaurant is located in a wonderful part of Pasadena, which only adds to the charm. The servers were also great friendly, attentive, and always ready to help.Overall, I highly recommend Pearl Thai Eatery for their delicious Thai food, wonderful atmosphere, and attentive staff. It's definitely worth a visit!"

"If you’re looking for a great authentic Thai food, the “Thai taste” is the place to go. The restaurant by itself Is the “hole in a wall” in the best meaning of this word! The outside appearance and interior are not attractive and fancy, but food there is OMG!!! The dishes’ delightful, hearty taste created by bright notes of lime juice, ginger, and lemongrass among with very balanced spices and fresh ingredients is Amazing! Flavors are unfolding in your mouth being perfectly arranged and orchestrated by the old man in the kitchen. This place has the CHEF, and he is actually does his job! He’s doing it for years not loosing or giving up the quality of his product! The old chef’s food is definitely has his magic touch, and I immediately could tell it hadn’t it when one day he was not in the kitchen while taking his trip to Thailand. I believe the place is being run by the family, so the atmosphere there is very relaxing and far from formal. The lady who works in the floor remembers our favorites by heart , so I never have a hard time to recall it. Bottom line, if you love Oriental/Thai food and also want to actually enjoy it, the “Thai taste” will fully satisfy you! Oh yeah one more thing. Portions are generous and pricing will not disappoint you at all!"
"I love this place! Every time I come in I try to order something different and it never disappoints. I love the wonton soup and the cashew chicken. Today I..."

"curry puffs: this appetizer was delicious. they offer plucked gurke and swirl. the curry itself is not liquidity and has a maische kartoffel texture. it would be good if they had something dripping for it. they offer 5 pieces. tom yum: the suppe was very overwhelming. the suppe was extremely sour and I had better suppe. a small size can feed 2 people. I would pass on the tom yum. pad kee mao (drunken noodles:) the noodles were delicious and spicy. I would come back for this one. mango paradise: delicious, but too expensive. this dessert was the most expensive thing we ordered. it is in the grunde mango sticky rice with whip cream and ice. the ice is vanilla flavor. the crepe gives him a sushi vibe. Service:Service was very incompatible. the main court came out quickly. dessert came out very slowly. the time for them to grab the scary and to float the card was very long. to go box was fast. seat: inside and outside seat. many seats. parking space: parking space for shared plaza."

"We have been frequenting this restaurant since we relocated to Temple a few years ago. The food is consistently delicious and the portion sizes are very generous. Gigi, T, and the other staff members are always friendly and accommodating. We don't see ourselves going to any other Thai restaurant anytime soon, as long as we are living here. This is our favorite spot to bring family when they visit. We absolutely adore this place."

"I was very impressed with this restaurant. It may look like a fast-food place from the outside, but the food is definitely sit-down quality inside. We started with the Fried Tofu and Chicken Satay appetizers, which were served hot, crispy, and fresh. The tofu was surprisingly flavorful and not at all bland like at most places. The Satay skewers were perfectly cooked and came with an amazing peanut sauce. For my main course, I had the chicken yakisoba, which was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection - not oily or greasy. We also enjoyed some good unsweetened tea and received excellent service from our friendly and professional waitress. After playing mini golf next door, having dinner/late lunch here made for a perfect New Year's Day 2024 with my wife."
