"Please reconsider the bread that you offer diners First impressions are everything and when you put out a loaf of dry, hard, stale bread it sets the tone for a lackluster dining experience which is what we had. We do appreciate our local restaurant but it just misses the mark. We had to flag down our server for more wine/ drinks and she barely checked in. The food was ok, definitely not worth the money. My husbands steak came out sooo well done even when he asked for medium rare. They did take it back but it took forever for him to get a new one. And one would think they would send out a dessert, or even a side dish to apologize but we got nothing. For the price of this restaurant the service needs to step it up, and the food needs to get better. First place to start is lose the stale bread as an offering!!!"

"We went to STIRR for a bday brunch. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Even tho it’s in deep Ellum it was very pleasant. The employees were nice and attentive. The food options we great. In my part of 4, we all ordered something different and we all had great fresh meals. The only complaint was my friend ordered an app called French dip sliders and the dipping sauce was a bit salty. My margherita flat bread was delicious. I would say it’s a size of an individual pizza. The spinach dip was tasty and the flatbread was soft and fresh. The chicken and grits was also a generous serving and made well."

"I was told I couldn't buy dinner on Friday night. I was denied. the bouncer told me that my “pants” do not fit their dressing order. after he had rejected me, he said: “If you help me, I can let you in.” Now I would be in order if I were denied, but I do not support the dishonest business practice to pay a bribe to be admitted. Once I told him I would pay, he told me that I wasn't able to get into any of the bars in the old town. that was also dishonest. I went to casa amigos and was immediately admitted. no problems. the staff there was friendly and so welcoming. if they think about going here. think again."

"Personally, I don't think that the concept works and will ultimately be pretty soon out of the business, unless it is strongly subsidized by the four seasons, which is possible. but that only means you should get out and check the place before he's gone. on Friday night there was almost no one at 20 o'clock.
