"Last week I visited the State Street Diner and would have been writing a bad review if it wasn't for a wonderful young lady named Simone (I believe that is her name, my apologies if it is wrong) she handled the situation just by over hearing my frustration with my waitress, went and corrected the mistake and brought the food out correct and promptly. Some of the staff should lead by her example."

"So it was my birthday and my girls decided to take me here for brunch. Let me just say it was my first time going and I will definitely be going back. The chicken and waffles was amazing! We sat outside because it was such a nice day but the atmosphereinside is just as beautiful."

"Two times in a weekend visiting Hollywood and Universal Studios. The only thing better than the terrace view was the food! You must either pay the $10 to pay your car, or walk on the hill if you can find somewhere to park on the floor. I would recommend the Tequila sunrise breakfast. I had it both times! If you expect to go on weekends, wait an hour if you don't show up very early. While you can wait at one of the tables of yashimuro sushi (it is at the same place). The garden is a fun check-out and there is a bar near the garden. Do not forget to say hi to Buddha and a coin on his belly!"

"There's a reason why there's a line wrapping around the entrance on Sundays: Brunch here is fantastic. Or you can have breakfast. Your choice (but go with the brunch). Our sons had the nutella waffle and chocolate cone waffles and they scarfed those down. I guess they Mmms were indication that the waffles were really something else. We both had the bacon jalapeno eggs bennies the hollandaise sauce was so good. The jalanos were not stupid hot but they did provide some heat which balance out the dish. Oh and that thich bacon sooo good. Our nepher ordered biscuit chicken sandwich and seemed to enjoy it as he didn't speak the entire time he was chowing down. He said it was out of this world (in flavor and portion as he ended up only finishing half). Loved that the coffee (drip) and water are all self serve and that you can't sit until you place your order. Ohhh and if you're in the mood, get the pink lemonade mimosa superb! We left this place feeling happy and full. HIdeway made our Sunday much more enjoyable."

"The restaurant is beautiful and convenient if you are staying at The Camby. You seat yourself at the bar or at a table and the staff will greet you. Because of the location, the prices are a little high for breakfast.The banana French toast was delicious with plenty of fresh cut fruits. The French toast itself was very well done. The All-American Breakfast was what you would expect. I appreciated the crunchy bacon and crispy breakfast potatoes. Overall the food is good. I wouldn't go here if I am not staying at the hotel as there is only valet parking."

"I went with a friend and we each had a crepe. I had the savory and my friend had the traditional. Mine was delicious and had no shortage of warm, yummy goat cheese. We split a strawberry and cream waffle. Also wonderful! The service was as fast as it could be when you are making crepes from scratch. We ate at the little red tables at Findlay Market. It was perfect!"

"The best brunch in Ft. Lauderdale with a fabulous atmosphere. Service is professional and fast. Come back early to hit the rush! My favorites are Crab Cake Benedict’s, Banger’s Breakfast Plate and Hanger Steak Hash . One must try before everything is over, are the doughnut holes and their own version of grilled cheese.
