"I was really looking forward to trying out this restaurant. We visited during winterlicious for dinner and found the atmosphere to be nice and cozy. The server was very friendly. We started with bitterballen, which were delicious - lightly deep fried and filled with flavorful and soft insides, served with various mustards for dipping. However, the main course, duck confit with creamy brussel sprouts, was a bit disappointing. The duck was extremely salty, which overwhelmed the dish. My dad also found it to be too salty. Despite this, the flavor and texture were decent. The brussel sprouts, on the other hand, were great. For dessert, we tried the deep fried cheesecake, a unique twist on a classic dish with a light and crispy dough wrapped around a cheesy filling. Overall, it would have been a great meal if the duck had been less salty."
