"We just visited, having ordered ahead via their app. Our order was a little late in being prepared, which didn't bother me, but the young man who helped us was very kind and apologetic and gave us a piece of cake to make up for it. "I usually have a good experience with Paris Baguette, but not this time. I ordered a blueberry yogurt cake and a tiramsu slice for my wife's birthday. I get a call letting me know that the tiramasu slice is out of stock and they offered an alternative. I was okay with that. I get the order at 745am, but I'm missing the whole yogurt blueberry cake. I got a slice of a chocolate ganache cake(alternative) and a SLICE of the yogurt cake, which is not what I ordered. We called Door Dash, explained that it didn't come. They fixed it and sent the cake. I got it by 830am. I put it in my fridge to keep cold, no problem. Come time to prep the cake for the party around 9pm-ish...catastrophe. The cake is normally wrapped with a mold ring to keep its shape for the customer to take off. There was no ring and the cake was partially melted with the blueberries flooded onto the tray. This REALLY disappointed me and my wife. This was her favorite cake and it was ruined. We still celebrated but clearly there were shortcuts taken to appease me having already been insensed by the fact that my delivery was shorted to begin with. This is not the way to go. Do better."

"Hello, I really like going to Te'amo but wanted to alert the owners that one of the recent hires (of the Te'amo in Hyde Park) needs to be fired. I have legimately never experienced worse customer service; she has a 0% rate of getting my drink orders right, and every drink I've ordered from her I've asked her to remake. She always briefly argues with me about what I've ordered, then admits that she made an error and remakes the drink. The remake also has a 0% rate of correctness. I'm not exaggerating, she has literally never gotten my drink order right. The mistakes are not small, either; for instance, the first time she made a drink for me, I asked for a rose tea with boba and a mustache. She prepared for me a matcha latte with a mustache and no boba. In talking over my drink order with her multiple times, I have learned that she actually does not know the difference between matcha and plain green tea, and she seems to think that all mustached teas need to have matcha. I thought this might not be her fault, and that she might not have been properly trained, but the final straw was when I saw her interact with other customers. She and a friend of hers were drinking teas at one of the tables, talking and hanging out away from the counter. A customer came in, ordered, and sat down to work while he waited for his drink. He waited for twenty or so minutes, got up to look at the counter for his drink, and then sat back down. All this time, the woman who was supposed to be working the counter was hanging out with her friend. Finally, about ten minutes later, he got up, approached her, and had to let her know that he had ordered a drink. He was just sitting there for half an hour, with no other customers waiting ahead of him, while the woman was talking with her friend.I am not sure how to describe this woman other than that I think she worked on the afternoon of Thursday the 18th of January, and that an Asian lady came in to work after her. I have gone to Te'amo Hyde Park very frequently, but I decided I had to stop because I couldn't pay $8 for the wrong drink, especially since when this lady prepares a drink it can be undrinkable (somehow the tea is too concentrated). I really think removing her and perhaps giving better training to the new hires would massively improve people's experiences. I hope to have a better boba experience in the future!"

"The Sushi Burritos at this restaurant are fantastic and they are able to inform you which sauces are vegan. Just be cautious when it comes to the milk tea if you are vegan. Even though they claim that the milk is not frothy, the powder may contain traces of lactose. The fruit tea, on the other hand, should be a safe and delicious option."

"I was in the mood for cake and I really like the cakes at Paris Baguette. I have been a customer for a long time. I decided to order from there for my husband, as I live close to 78th and Northern Blvd. When I tried to place the order, I noticed that they suggested the location on 78th, so I switched to my closest store on 88th. I placed my order, but somehow both orders went through. I don't understand how that happened. I canceled the order at the first location two minutes after receiving a confirmation notification, but they still charged me the full amount for a cake I never received. I contacted Uber and they said the store had my order ready after just 2 minutes, even without confirmation. I understand about cancellation fees, but paying $60 without the option to get my cake is ridiculous. I will never order or buy from your store again."

"Mon ami, I love me some good boba and Te'amo delivers both in taste and looks.Located at the top floor of a mall, this not-so-busy boba shop is a nice escape from the bustle of Michigan Ave. The area has a few tables and chairs with outlets so you can stay and work or browse the internet for a bit.You order through the kiosk and the barista prepares your drink. I ordered an Oolong Milk Tea with Boba and Oat Milk, which hits all the marks of a good tea, non-dairy milk option, and the chewy boba itself. They have a ton of other drinks to choose from and you can really customize it to your own liking.Notably, I like the aesthetics of the cups where you actually have to crack them open like a can of pop, but feel it creates more waste than necessary. Still, it is a gorgeous looking drink to admire upon receiving.Definitely would return to this place if I'm in the area again and want some boba.Vegetarian options: Vegan friendly non-dairy milk options available"

"I used to go to this restaurant in the evenings after work, usually between 6-6:30, and they would still have a good selection available. I used to get soft cheese cakes and ham cheese croissants for breakfast to enjoy over the weekend. However, the last few times I have been there, they have been out of my favorite items and even my backup choices. They are open until 9, but it seems like they run out of items early. They used to be a regular spot for me, but now I only visit if I happen to be nearby. However, for special occasions, their cakes are still amazing. I highly recommend the blueberry chiffon or mango coconut cakes. It's their savory pastries that seem to have disappeared."

"I got the yuzu tea which was so good! A bit sour, sweet and perfected to taste — it had lemon slices and chia seeds in it too — didn’t try the dessert but maybe next time. You can also order on the ipads inside which is super convenient. People working were nice and friendly too"
